That odd feeling did not leave it practically crawled up my spine screaming at me. Been like this for a few weeks and winter began to thaw. Blooming flowers from buds where bright against some of the snow that accompanied the branches of trees.

I admired it as I walked to Madam Mentor office since she might have the answer I am looking for.

The only peace I got was nature of green and pink popping colours that accompanied my walk. The cold did not bite as the warm sun shone a warmth. But that didn’t take away the odd feeling as the school campus was a bit quieter than usual. Besides it wasn’t the odd feelings of questions I wanted answer to, a feeling that made me feel that I belonged to something much more.

Some of the snow actually turned to slush as my feet clambered over it. I was not really caring till arriving at the building of Madam Office. I wiped away the wetness of my shoes and began to enter allowing the warmth of normal temperature to fill me.

Ascending the stairs, I paused for a moment. Should I really be doing this? Or should I walk away now?

I shook myself and pushed through up the stairs can’t believe I even though that.

I arrived at the top greeted by the circle of windows and saw that it was cloudy out, as if my sunshine barely existed. It streams barely through the clouds. I didn’t realize I was watching or staring at them for a while when finding myself now perched on the window sill looking out while cold brick bit through my clothing.

I stood away and knocked on the door waited a moment and it opened. I entered and saw Madam sitting at her desk watching me come in. Smiling she gestured for me to sit. I did and felt a comfort knowing what I would say wasn’t stupid.

“You came for answers” she read my mind not while ago.

I nodded, “For the past weeks, I been feeling off like something is warning me that a danger is about to come.” Something like my vision I had.

“A feeling? Anything else” she asked probably knowing there was more.

I took a breath, “Earlier in the fall. I had a vision that stuck to me… vision of something happening, I can’t describe but it involved fighting and screaming and now this feeling is adding on to it.”

She listened and didn’t act like I was crazy she understood.

“Continue” she gestured after she realized I stopped talking.

“This feeling filled with darkness and somehow I feel I will be painfully cut from something or someone.”

Madam face went to understanding to dead stone.

“Describe the feeling in detail a little more” she urged.

I stared at her but she was not joking, there was demand in the voice.

“Like someone took a knife and is painfully slicing my main peace away and a dark feeling of evil is feeling like it wants to overwhelm me” I shrugged, “That is the best way I can describe my emotions and foreign feeling.”

Madam stood and turned her back to me gazing out the window, “Also” I whispered, “I feel I have a family but they are not human as this odd connection of familiarity is surrounding me.”

Madam turned slowly and studied me as I said something that worried her. But she sighed a defeat.

“You have a family…but not human.”

I jerked at this, “Who do you know them?”

She came forward and crouched by my chair and I followed with my eyes looking down at her. She took a painful breath as the words were fire to her mouth.

“You are my daughter… you changed because you were chosen.” Colour drained my face, “What?... Mentors can have children?”

She smiled slightly, “only special ones, Mentors can have children… you were sent to earth to be in a safe environment as you were special…”

I tore away and stood, “This does not make sense…how, when, what?” I spoke now freaking out.

She came to me calm but stopped midway when sirens began to painfully pierce through the air into my ears. I instinct covered them unaware of what was happening. I brought my attention to Madam who looked concerned and sprang into action to her desk but a warrior burst through the doors.

“Dark Magic on school grounds Madam” he stated and Madan nodded and flicked him away bringing her attention back to me. Soon she was in front of me tearing my hands away from my ear.

“What was your vision exactly?”

I stuttered I couldn’t process words. She sighed in defeat.

“I must go and make sure everyone is safe, the school is under my command and I am responsible for all students who get hurt buy dark forces.”

She stared at me in the eyes. “You must stay here and be safe, I will come back.”

I didn’t understand as I stayed there frozen watching her level me alone in the office with the slam a sealed door. I rushed to the window and gazed out and witness the clouds became darker and strong evil presence is exactly what I have been feeling all the last weeks.

I stayed by the window near the curtains for who know how long peering out the window just enough to see if I could get a glimpse of anything. See something at least to know what is going on. All I could see where clouds that looked likely they turned to black even thought was still bright out.

It must have felt like hours that Madam was gone. What the hell? She should have been back by now, something or another feeling began to frighten me. I swallowed and looked at the door that Madam left through. I had a bad feeling if I would be making a terrible decision.

But that curious thought made me want to seek what was happening.

Scream of pure agony echo in the air and that made my bones cold dry.

What the hell was happening out there?

Before I could think or answer I found my feet carrying me to the doors and soon descending steps and down to where class rooms where the shrieking became louder.

I came to see the hallways littered with frightened with students. They quivered against on another pale in the face. I didn’t stop as my feet carried me to the front entrance when I grabbed hold of the door a student shrieked ‘no!’, too late I was already outside and froze to see what felt like déjà vu.

The Warriors of Kadea were fighting and using their weapons to defend off these odd-looking ghost skeleton creatures that were terrifying.

The Warriors were defending other students getting them to safety while the dark creatures were Tormenting others. I was frozen seeing and hearing how the clashing of metal was deafening and screaming of agony pain echoed from warriors’ mouth and students. As another ear-piercing shriek would come from the skeleton creature that looked if they were on fire.

Dark magic was int them and I didn’t realize some bodies of warriors, creature and students were already covered in soaking blood on the ground. I was in complete terror. Till a hand wrapped around mine and pulled me away from this gut-wrenching scene.

Pulling me to who knows where as I couldn’t focus. Though my skin felt as ice and a numb feeling. We ended up in dark corner I assumed hidden. I finally faced the mystery figure who somewhat helped me to my sense. I saw that it was Wolf.

“What the bloody hell are you doing out here when you are supposed to be in Madam office?” he shouted as the chaos was loud.

“I don’t know, my legs have a mind of their own” I confessed.

“Well good thing I found you, Madam request I come and look after you which was a good call” he stated.

I only gave a grim smile, “What is happening? Dark magic is all I know”

Wolf blew out a breath and pushed me back towards the shadows. “Someone released a dark magic spell on the school and won’t stop till someone destroys the objects that hold the spell together…that’s where Madam is, finding out the source with a few warriors.”

I gaped at his statement.

“Besides we need to get you to safety now” Wolf urged while looking out into the light. But I too could not see any opening as it seemed the monsters have doubled. Sheer terror filled me, I made the absolute worse decision.

Why was I this dumb?

Something caught my attention as Wolf was knocked into the light and now surrounded by three gut retching scary skeletons of clouds. I was about to go forward to help Wolf but someone stopped me, he looked up and faced me. His smile of pure evil possession.

Kieran.

I struggled back from him but I was stumbling on my own feet and found myself on the ground looking up at his dark figure. He came towards me; he was hungry for me. I struggled with much energy as I could to get away from him, my arms and legs were acting madly that it was impossible for me to move without gasping at the pain.

Kieran now was right beside and leaned down eye level with me. He brought his hand to my face stroked my cheek. I winced at this burning touch and almost fell back, though he caught me and picked my body up. With his arms under my knees and wrapped around my shoulders it felt like fire and ice burning against my skin. I tried getting away but he was too strong for me. My energy was nothing compared to his. He started for the light of chaos.

We were out in the open that had shouting along gurgled cries, it filled the air. I closed my eyes to what was happening. Though out of nowhere a growl from a wolf ripped through the air.

Before I could prepare myself, Kieran whipped around, letting me go as I hit the ground painfully. I gritted my teeth from the pain. I looked up to see a full-size lycan large as a bear standing in the distance as it began to ponder the ground. It lunged at Kieran and started thrashing and biting at Kieran as he helplessly tried to defend himself. Kieran swung whatever he could only missing the Lycan by an inch. They fought hard and I couldn’t tear my eyes away. Kieran was truly afraid of the wolf and I instantly remembered what Emily told me earlier. Kieran is afraid of Lycans.

Soon the Lycan knocked Kieran down onto his back and jumped onto Kieran with a deep snarl. The Lycan transformed into Wolf, he was now kneeling on Kieran’s chest with his hands around Kieran’s neck. Both of them panting, Kieran laying there in shock as if it were impossible for him to be beat or his fear coming alive. Wolf raised his claw hand just above Kieran’s neck and brought it down while the air escaped my lungs.

“Big Mistake buddy” Kieran said.

I don’t know what happened it was too quick; Wolf flew spinning in the air and landed down hard on a tree trunk amongst the fighting crowd and slid down. He was not moving for a moment till he coughed that sent some relief through my body.

I struggled to get up but I somehow was still very weak. Kieran turned and started for me. I didn’t know what to do but one thing came to my mind. I thought of all the elements to strengthen me. They did. Kieran reached for and my command was completed.

He barely touched me when I kicked him in the gut making him fly in the air, though he landed on his hands and knees, and looked up at me smirking. He started for me again and now I was ready.

He reached for me again and I blocked it with my arms and hooked punched at him. I could sense him just the way Wolf taught me to fight. Kieran tried again and swung another grab at me and I blocked it again this time kicking him with a side sweep. That luckily brought him down. He snarled at me showing his fangs for first time. He looked blood thirsty but I felt he didn’t want rip off my head more so he wanted me as a prize.

Again and again, he fought with me I would continuously block him. Then surprised hit, Kieran tripped my legs from behind that caused me to stumble onto my back I gasped as the air exited my lungs. Kieran duck down and smirked.

“Now let us try this again” his dark voice loomed, I struggled against his grasp so hard. I felt I was going to rip my legs and arms out of the sockets.

From the corner of my eye, I saw Wolf charge towards us, split second blue surrounded him and he became a Lycan. I used every ounce of energy and kicked away enough to get away from Kieran. I kicked Kieran making him stumbled and he was shocked again as he became Wolf central attention. But somehow, he knew, Kieran avoided Wolf flipping in the air and landed on his hands and knees. Slowly gazed at me smiling then a wink, he was gone with a kiss blown to me.

I realized the skeletons were gone and everything was quiet.

Wolf and I looked at each other and wondered what just happened. Wolf soon ran to as I realized I was falling and soon my vision was fading to black.
