Selena’s P.O.V

I took in a deep breath as I stared in the mirror. I tried to calm my nerves as much as I could but right now with all the nerves inside me I sure felt like I would explode.

My mum adjusted the veil on my head and then rested her head on my shoulder. I smiled at her through the mirror and she gave me a warm smile.

The sight before me in the mirror felt like a dream. I was dressed as a bride.

Adam’s bride.

I was going to marry the most amazing man in the world and the love I have for him was beyond words could describe. It felt like a dream, everything about Adam was like a fairytale. He was my Prince Charming in every way. From the way he talks to the way he treats me, everything about him to me is just simply amazing.

“You look absolutely beautiful honey” I looked at my mum who was tearing up.

“Awww mum, don’t cry” I tried my best not to tear up because I had been a mess since the morning and had my makeup touched up at least hundred times.

My mum hugged me and I hugged her tighter. I always thought about getting married but my thoughts were nothing compared to my reality now. My life had turned out to be better than a fairytale. I had my parents and grandparents with me and most importantly my Prince.

I felt like the luckiest girl in the world to have Adam by my side, never in a million years did I think that I would meet a man like him.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard shouting in the back.

“Let me sit on the damn chair my back is killing” I turned around to see my bridesmaid’s walk in.

Jade, Chloe and Giselle walked in dressed in a beautiful shade of baby pink making them all look stunning.

My attention turned to Chloe who was struggling to sit down. Did I forget to mention she is heavily pregnant.

Thats right. Chloe and Chris had gotten married when they turned 20 and now 2 years later they are having their first baby. I was so excited but Chloe on the other hand looked like she was going to kill someone.

She sat down and then turned towards me. Her eyes started to tear along with the other two’s.

“Lena you look stunning, can’t believe that your special day has come” I smiled through the tears at her. Today was a day full of emotions and we were a mess at keeping them at bay. Jade and Giselle both came towards me and hugged me.

“As much as we would love to stay here and cry we can’t. We have to get to the church because it is finally time and we are slightly running behind” I looked to the other side of the room to see my dad walk in.

He came towards me and kissed my forehead. I could see that he was hiding his tears but nevertheless I still saw them.

“You look just like a princess” I hugged him from the side as we all got ready to leave.

“And you look very handsome dad” I winked at him making him laugh at me.

We walked out of my room and downstairs, with every step I took my heartbeat faster.

With each step I was taking forward I was leaving behind a part of me.

I saw my brothers all dressed smartly in suits looking at me with a look of awe in their eyes. Ash and Jacob were both standing besides them looking handsome as ever.

“Wow, our baby sister is finally all grown up” John came forward and hugged me.

“Who would have thought Lena would get hitched before me” I rolled my eyes at Ben before hugging him and Blake.

The twins both pulled me into a hug and with each hug I was trying my best not to cry. We all pulled apart and headed to the carriage that would take us to the church.

The whole ride there all I could think about was everything I would be leaving behind. I remembered the sweet memories with my brothers who practically raised me and today were giving me away.

Things would be very different after today, I would have new responsibilities. I would no longer have my brothers around to protect me. I wouldn’t be waking up to them arguing and I won’t have them to fight with or annoy them. I smiled at all the memories I have with my brothers, I was going to miss having them around me constantly.

I was going to miss having my friends around, being crazy with them and sitting and laughing for hours about pointless things. We all had new responsibilities and nothing would be the same. We won’t be walking to school together or hanging out til late being stupid.

But I would be creating new memories, with Adam, in a new world. Today is the first day of my future and I was nervous as hell.

I shot my dad a nervous smile as I linked my arm with his.

“You ready to take the leap for future” I nodded at him.

“I’m terrified and bummed at the same time. Everything is changing and it’s scaring me” While everyone was deciding who was walking when I spoke to my dad.

“There’s nothing to be scared of, I know I am handing you to someone that will love and protect you. More than your brothers have. I know marriage is a scary thing but you have to take the leap of faith but you have Adam beside you through all of it. Beside if we have no change in life we wouldn’t have beautiful things like butterflies”

My dad pointed up and we saw two white butterflies go by, I looked at my dad and felt much calmer.

“You ready” I looked in front of me to see everyone was waiting for us.

“Yep” I smiled at my dad as we started to walk forward.

As we entered everyone’s attention turned towards us. The church was very old and enormous , it had huge chandeliers hanging down lighting up the whole church.

At the end of the aisle I could see Adam. I couldn’t properly see him as he was far away. As we walked down I saw many familiar faces smiling at me.

The closer we got the more my heart started to race. I finally looked up to see Adam, I felt my breath get caught in my throat as I looked at him. He looked so handsome, he looked nothing like the boy I had met 4 years ago in school.

In his place was a handsome man, who radiated off power and authority. His perfectly fit suit showed off how built he was. His hair was styled up making him look so good. His captivating green eyes held contact with me until I came face to face with him. He smiled at me and his dimples showed through his facial hair.

My dad stopped and then kissed my cheek before handing me to Adam. I had a huge smile on my face as he held my hands.

“Amado” His voice came out in a husky whisper which made my inside’s melt. I bit down on my lip and looked away as his gaze had become intense. I looked up to see him still looking at me.

“Dear beloved we are gathered here today...” The priest began to talk and my hold on Adam’s hand tighten slightly.

The priest spoke about the significance of our vows and also told us about our duties and roles in the marriage. He turned to us to read out our vows to each other. We both had written them down. Adam took a deep breath and started.

“Ever since the day I saw you, I knew we were something special. You gave my life a new meaning, everyday I wanted to be a better man for you. Because of you I laugh and smile, dare to dream more than ever. I thank god for the miracle that he has given me, most people search their whole lives for the love we already have. Every choice in my life, whether it be good or bad has led me to you and I wouldn’t change a single thing because if I did I wouldn’t be standing here today.

With this ring I wed thee, I ask you to wear this ring as a symbol of our love, everyday you wear this, you will be carrying a part of me and my love with you.

I now take you Selena, to be my wife, to have and hold you. To honour and respect you always and in every way. From this day forward I take you for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health to love and cherish till death do us apart”

Adam voice cracked towards the end and I could see his eyes glisten with tears. I smiled at him through my tears. I mouthed ‘I love you’ to him before starting my vows.

“The day you walked in my life was probably the best day ever, right from then I knew you were someone special, it didn’t register then but when it did I was over the moon to have you as my other half. You’ve protected and loved me before I had even met you.

You are a miracle that was given to me, you gave my life a new purpose, you gave me hope, you made me a better person than I ever was and you continue to make me a better person every single day.

But mostly importantly you gave me your love, your affection and protection. Never did I imagine that I would meet a man like you, someone who would come and change my world in an instant. The love I have for you cannot be put into words.

I take you Adam, to be my husband, I promise to always stand by your side through your battles and goals. I promise to be faithful to you, to love you unconditionally. To honour,respect and cherish you in every way. From this day forward I take you for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health to love and cherish you till death do us apart”

Tears flowed out of my eyes as I finished my vows. Adam brought up my hands and kissed them making me laugh through my tears.

“I now pronounce you husband and wife...you may now kiss the bride” I smiled at Adam as we were pronounced husband and wife. We were fricking married.

Adam didn’t hesitate as he closed the gap between us. He pressed his soft lips against mine and kissed me. I returned the kiss with an emotion I never knew I could feel.

The kiss portrayed that our love was stronger than ever. I held onto his shoulders as his grip on my waist tightened.

Around us we heard loud cheers, the kiss was short lived when we both realised where we were. I pulled away and looked into his electric eyes. He gave me the most breathtaking smile, I couldn’t believe that this beautiful man was now my husband.

Adam held my hand as we both made our way out of the church. When we got out everyone threw flowers on us, Adam pulled me towards him for another kissing making me laugh.

“I love you” I smiled at him before pecking his lips.

“I love you too”

“May I have everyone’s attention” We all turned around to look at Cole who was looking handsome in his suit. Everyone quieted down in the hall.

“Before the first dance of our lovely bride and groom. There is a special gift from the groom to the bride” I turned my head to look Adam with confusion. He just winked at me and held my hand.

The lights in the room dimmed down and on a huge screen there was a picture of me and Adam from earlier.

Once that had moved there was a message.

“Today is the first day of our lives together, we will make many beautiful memories together, but I want to take a minute to remember all the beautiful one’s we’ve had so far” I turned to look at Adam who smiled at me. A beautiful song started to play in the background as the screen turned to the first picture.

I felt my cheeks heat up when I remembered. It was the time when we all travelled to school together and I was thrown on his lap. We both were looking at each other shyly.

The second picture was the day we did the makeover and I was sitting his Adam’s lap straddling him trying to do his makeup. He had a cheeky smile on his face while I was scowling at him. I laughed remembering how nervous I felt around him. Something which hadn’t changed.

The third picture got a laugh from everyone. It was from the same day as the makeovers expect Adam was standing with the red lipstick on his face, which was somehow smudged on my face. I had my arms around his neck as he picked me up, my legs were wrapped around his waist and one arm of mine was in the air and we both had a goofy smile on our face.

The fourth picture was from a night out when I went crazy drunk. It was group picture and I was standing in between Adam and Cole. I had a huge smile on my face and what made me tear up was Adam’s expression. He was looking at me with a loving look while I was smiling looking at the camera.

I turned towards him and smiled while leaning my head on his shoulder. Adam pulled me closer to him as we watched the next picture come up on the screen.

In this picture I was sitting on my bathroom counter with Adam patching me up from being drunk after the night out. I laughed as I remembered how much I annoyed him and sang many songs to him.

The next picture brought butterflies to my stomach. It was the first time I hugged Adam. It was the day us girls left for our trip. Me and Adam were both holding each other with an intense look in our eyes. Looking at us from a different point of view showed how madly in love we were without even realising.

The next picture seemed magical, it was snowing and I remember, me and Adam both tumbled down the hill and he landed ontop of me. The snow was falling and everyone was having a snowball fight, but in that moment it felt as if it were just us two.

I felt a tear fall out of my eye when I saw a picture of me and Adam on the day off the masquerade ball at school. I had my arms around him, we both were smiling at each other and looking into each other’s eyes. It was this day that I knew I wanted Adam in my life.

Everyone started to laugh at the next picture and I looked to my side to see the one’s who were responsible for it. Reece and Justin had taken this. Adam was fast asleep with his arms tightly around me. We both fell asleep while watching a movie.

The next picture made everyone in the room awe. It was me, Adam and Lucy sleeping. I felt a lump in my throat seeing how beautiful the sight before me was. Me and Adam both were asleep but we still held Lucy closely between us.

The next picture brought a huge smile on my face. It was when we had our first date and there was another picture from our perfect date on the yatch. Memories of that night made me blush and I felt Adams grip on me tightened which meant he was thinking the same thing.

The next picture made three people laugh in particular. Me, Giselle and Xavier all looked at each other and laughed. It was a picture of me giving Adam a cheeky smile while he was scowling while holding me by the waist. It was the day we made him jealous on the training field at Xavier’s pack house.

A few pictures of the most amazing night came next, the day of Adam’s coronation, the day he asked me to be his forever.

The last picture made my tears fall out. It was of my and Adam on our wedding day. We both were looking at each other with teary eyes and huge smiles on our faces.

When the pictures ended the room erupted into a loud cheer. I lifted my head and brought my lips to Adams. He pulled me closer and deepened the kiss. We pulled away and he pulled me into a hug.

“Thank you so much Adam, that was the best gift ever” I looked up at him and he kissed my forehead.

“I just wanted to remember all the special times we’ve had up until now” We both looked at each other with a huge smile on our faces.

“Now presenting the newly weds for their first dance” Everyone cheered as Adam stood up and held out his hand.

“May I have this dance”

“Why off course” I winked at him as he pulled me up.

We both made our way to the dance floor, the music started and I put my arms around Adam and he held my waist pulling me even closer. I could feel his chest moving against mine and every fibre in my body was going crazy.

“All this feels like a dream Adam, I can’t believe we are married” I smiled at him as we danced.

“You becoming my wife and my other half is dream come true. I couldn’t see myself spending my life anyone but you Amado. I promise to always love you and protect you until my very last breath”

“Stop being so fricking adorable Adam, you’re gonna make me cry” Adam laughed as I put my head on his chest laughing.

“Adam thank you so much for coming into my life, thank you for being my Prince Charming literally saving me from so much trouble and staying by my side. I love you soo soo much Adam” I kissed Adam as we both twirled around the dance floor.

“Amado I will do it all again just so I can have you in my arms. I would choose you a thousand times again in a thousand different lives because you’re the only one I will ever love.”

After dancing with Adam I danced with my Dad and brothers. Now I was sitting down while Adam was dancing with my mum.

I looked at him as he laughed at something my mum said to him. He twirled her around making her which put a smile on my face.

I took a moment to take in everything. Every single person I loved was in this room enjoying themselves. Even Chloe was dancing like crazy with Chris who looked very nervous that she would get hurt.

Xavier was with Scarlett dancing and they had their two little twins running around playing with the other children. Both of the boys were literally mini versions of Xavier, cheeky and mischievous but they both protected each other which was the cutest thing ever.

My friends were all dancing together having the times of their lives.

Never in a million years did I think I would be sitting here, married to Adam and being so happy. The day he walked in my life it changed everything. He made feel things I never felt before. He made me feel more alive than ever. His rebellious side brought out the best of me.

Whenever he was around me, it felt as if I was surrounded by an army. Just his presence was enough to make me safe and secure. Time stopped completely when I was with Adam. It was just the two of us and no-one else.

Who would have thought I would be the wife of a King of a magical world. Just saying it makes it sound like a fantasy.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when I saw Adam coming towards me.

“Dance with me one last time” He pulled me up and dragged me to the dance floor.

We both danced and I was pretty sure Adam was kind of tipsy as he kept laughing at almost everything.

“I LOVE YOOU AMADOO” I giggled as he gave me a kiss. I pulled away and held his cheeks.

“I love you too”

Adam had a mischievous glint in his eyes as he winked at me. I looked at him with confusion and before I knew it Adam lifted me up bridal style before shouting.

“Goodnight everyone, now it’s time for me and my bride to start our newlywed life” I squealed when he twirled me.

“Adam stop” I smacked his chest lightly. He moved his mouth close to my ear.

“Time to go and spend our first night as husband and wife together” I blushed as he kissed my neck.

Before I knew it Adam started to run out of the hall making me hold him tight and squeal.

“WHOOOOOOO” Adam shouted as we exited making me laugh. I held Adam’s face and gave him a kiss on the cheek but he moved his face right on the last moment, making us kiss.

The whole moment was perfect, everything was perfect.

Who knew that I would fall under the bad boy’s spell.
