Horace started the car and rolled up the back seat partition.

Ariana turned to Theodore and grabbed his hand, rubbing it greedily to get his warmth.

The man indulged her and held out his other hand for her.

“[ told you about Tyler’s drama on the phone, remember? We were just watching it.

It was so boring! I think the investors may lose money,” Ariana said, feeling chatty.

She went on to explain, “At first, we wanted to watch it in the company, but Tyler had a one-to-one

physique class today. The instructor visits his dorm for lessons, and it would be very troublesome to go

back and forth between the company and his dorm, so we just watched it in his room. That way, we

didn’t have to waste time moving between places.”

Theodore nodded but said nothing. He just held her hand and kissed it.

Ariana heaved a sigh of relief and was glad Theodore did not misunderstand her.

She then began to criticize the drama plot while Theodore held her in his arms as he listened to her

patiently.

As she chatted away, she began to feel sleepy again because of her pregnancy.

In order to wake herself up, she played with the delicate and expensive cuff link on Theodore’s sleeve

while talking. Theodore would make some remarks from time to time. ©

The car drove slowly along the wet road. The rain had finally stopped, and the distant mountains were

shrouded in white mist.

When Ariana was about to fall asleep, Theodore said in a cold but gentle tone, “It’s time to arrange an

assistant for Tyler. There will be too many tasks from now on, and you can’t do it alone.”

“Yeah, but I didn’t have time to arrange it because I was busy with the film,” Ariana said as she rested

her head against Theodore’s chest, feeling comfortable and at ease.

“I’ll arrange it for you. Don’t worry about it,” he replied and lowered his head, kissing her on the top of

her head.

Ariana nodded and played with his shirt happily. “Theodore, you really are a man with multiple talents.

There’s nothing you can’t handle,” she cooed.

Theodore replied with a smile, “It’s not a big deal, but if you keep moving, things are about to get

dangerous.”

Ariana froze and immediately understood what he meant. She moved away and tried to stay as far

away from his crotch as possible.

Theodore chuckled and pinched her nose while he asked, “Are you hungry?”

Ariana didn’t feel hungry, but her stomach started rumbling when he asked. She held her stomach and

replied with a nod, “I’m hungry now.”

“Horace, go to the restaurant,” Theodore ordered after pulling down the partition.

The car immediately detoured. Suddenly she realized the car had been driving for more than ten

minutes, but the scenery outside was still very quiet.
