His face was not emotionless as it is all the time, it was filled with anger and there was this crazy murderous expression on his face.

“It's none of your damn business” said Elena harshly while moving from his side.

Suddenly, Luke's giant hands held Elena's arm and pushed her on the wall trapping her between the wall and his body.

"What are you doing?” asked Elena angrily, trying to release herself from his grip.

"Answer me when I am being nice. Do you like Liam?" asked Luke literally gritting his teeth in fury. “You are not getting any answer out of me if you act like a complete jerk! Stop acting like my boyfriend!” said Elena still trying to remove his hands but his hold was too strong.

“What does he eat, Iron? He is way too strong!’ thought Elena in irritation.

"You can't deny baby, I am your mate. You are stuck with me forever. I know you must be feeling that undying attraction. I observed how you also couldn't even let go of me today" said Luke with a smirk while closing the distance between their lips.

Luke's face was a bit too close to her own face. With this closeness and his scent, Elena started losing control again. She closed her eyes in ecstasy. She felt thousands of butterflies in her stomach. Not a single guy she knows made her feel the way Luke does. Blame it all on soulmate bond, but she just couldn't resist him when they are such close vicinity.

Luke also couldn't stop himself from moving towards her. Their lips were almost touching. Elena closed her knowing what was going to happen next.

His eyes went to the broken coffee mugs and then his position, he was holding counter for his dear life.

“How can she be so powerful without a wolf?’ thought Luke confusedly, he was about to speak his thought but they got interrupted by an uninvited guest.

The door opened and Lily entered the kitchen hurriedly.

"What is going on? Elena, are you okay?" asked Lily who heard cracking noise and rushed to the kitchen knowing Elena went there to keep the cans.

She observed the broken coffee mugs and other utensils on the floor.

"Are you kidding me? Don't tell me you guys are throwing kitchen utensils at each other now? how old are you, three?” commented Lily in disbelief at their childish behavior.

None of them replied. They looked away from each other but both of them were still groaning in anger.

“Look at this dumb girl!" thought Elena with a sigh.

“Let's go, El. You don't need to waste your time on this one” said Lily looking at Luke with narrowed eyes while holding her best friend's hand and taking her out of the kitchen leaving Luke alone with his confused self.

“What was that? How can she be so damn powerful? She is not a complete werewolf yet, right? Is she hiding something?
