Kristin's eyes sparkled with smugness. She knew these two investors were not that important to her, but she just loved soaking up their flattery, even if it was all fake.

Kristin pretended to be shy. "What are you guys talking about? I've only met them a few times; we are not close." She was telling the truth, but her twinkling eyes made it look like a shy lie.

"Is Kristin blushing? I'd say pick the caring one. I heard President Windham treated his ex-wife like a queen; he even bought her an island and named it Bella's Bay, turning it into an amusement park. So envy- inducing!
