Queenie had overheard the conversation between Jack and Luke. Jack could not hide it anymore. He nodded with a solemn expression on his face. "Mhm, the police said she hit her head on the wall. They've taken her to the hospital for an examination. As for the details, I'll need to head to the hospital to know more about it."

"I'll go too.” Queenie could not be bothered with the tray in her hands and placed it on the shelf before heading back to her bedroom to change her clothes.

He showed no emotional attachment to the patient as a family member.

"Alright. The patient needs to stay in the hospital for observation. According to the police's instructions, she should be kept in the custodial ward, right?" The doctor looked at Francis and the others.

"Yes." Francis nodded. Leia's incident had added to their workload. They had to arrange for someone to be on duty here. He could not help but feel resentful.
