Chapter 599 Freeze to Death

“Don’t stop me from finding Caroline!” Evan yelled, trying to push Kenny aside.

Kenny blocked the doorway, fuming, and asked, “How can you still have the audacity to see her?”

“My relationship with her is none of your concern!” Evan’s eyes were cold.

Kenny retorted, “It’s my concern because I’m her friend! If you want to be with Daniella, why do you

keep visiting Caroline? She’s given you chances, but you’ve let her down repeatedly!”

Evan grew impatient. “Get out of my way!”

Kenny challenged, “I won’t let you see Caroline with that attitude unless you fight me!”

Evan narrowed his eyes and clenched his fists.

Kenny panicked as he glanced at Evan’s fists but refused to move.

“You should leave.”

Suddenly, Caroline’s voice was heard.

Kenny turned to her. “What are you doing out here? Haven’t you given up on him yet?”

Caroline calmly looked at Kenny. “Go inside first. I’ll talk to him.”

Kenny glared at Evan and told Caroline, “Please, don’t be lenient with him again this time.”

Caroline nodded and turned to Evan with a serious expression. She walked to the doorway, closed the

door, and said, “Let’s resolve this once and for all.”



Evan asked, “Why did you hang up on me?”

“Since you’re so eager to care for Daniella, I thought it would be better not to disturb you,” Caroline

replied

nonchalantly.

Evan explained, “She collected medicinal herbs for Axel and had an accident on the mountain. The

police

called me.”

Caroline asked, “And then?”

Evan said, “There’s nothing else to report.”

Caroline said, “Alright, now it’s my turn to speak.”

Evan had a foreboding feeling.

Caroline walked to the living room and sat down. “I believe I’ve made myself clear, but I’m not sure if he

understands.”

Kenny took a couple of steps closer and glanced out the window. “He’s still standing outside.”

“Let him stand if he wishes,” Caroline said, agitated.

Kenny rubbed his hands together. “It’s freezing out there, and it’s raining. He’s not dressed warmly

enough

Caroline looked at Kenny, annoyed. “If you’re concerned, go stand with him!”

Seeing Caroline’s frustration, Kenny quickly said, “Alright, alright. I won’t mention him again. Let’s

ignore

him and let him deal with the cold.”

Meanwhile, upstairs in the bedroom.
