Daniella wondered if Casey wanted to join MK. She entered the living room once Casey ended the call

and greeted him with a sweet smile. “I’m here to see you, Casey.”

Casey set down his phone and returned the smile. “You’re back from the hospital already?”

Daniella sat beside Casey. “I couldn’t visit Axel due to his protective isolation. I came back as soon as I

checked on his condition.”

Casey asked, “How is he doing?”

“He’s doing quite well,” Daniella replied. “Casey, have you considered joining MK?”

Casey pondered the question before responding. I have, but I believe someone wouldn’t want me

there.”

“Casey, you’re being too passive. The company belongs to you, and Evan is just holding it down for

you.”

Casey rested his forehead on his hand and sighed. “Judging by your tone, do you have a plan to

persuade

him to let me join?”

Daniella leaned closer to him. “I can assist you if you

want.”

Casey embraced her. “Ella, it’s more complicated than you think.”

Daniella blinked slowly. “Everyone has their vulnerabilities.”

“Are you suggesting you’ll use Axel to threaten Evan? Casey cautioned, “That could expose you, dear.”

Daniella scoffed softly to herself. She realized that Evan had more weak spots than just Axel–Caroline

was another one.

Casey kissed Daniella gently. “Yes, of course.”

He desired to see Evan resenting his presence but was unable to get rid of him.

Daniella persisted, “No, you have to promise me first.”

Daniella smirked, turned, and pinned herself to Casey. She seductively moved her slender waist and

Casey caressed Daniella’s back. “Of course, I’ll wait for your plan, my dear.”

At 8:00 p.m., Neil took Thomas and Greta to their hotel.

Paige wanted to stay but soon dozed off in a chair.

Evan instructed Reuben to check Paige into a hotel for some rest. As Paige couldn’t stay awake any

longer, she left with Reuben. They closed the door behind them, leaving Evan alone with Caroline, who

was peacefully sleeping on the bed.
