Tyler halted his steps. “What’s wrong?”

Liora glanced at Caroline before hurriedly leading Tyler back to the bedroom and shutting the door.

“Have you noticed something strange about Axel, Ty?” Liora asked.

“Axel looked awfully thin and seemed exhausted when I played with him last night,” Tyler remarked, his

brow furrowing.

Liora nodded. “Exactly! I think Axel might be sick.”

“Don’t jump to conclusions. It could be because he’s struggling with the constant changes in hist living

situation, Tyler scolded.

“What should we do then?” Liora blinked anxiously. “Oh, I know! Do you think we can talk to

scumbag Daddy about it?”

Tyler asked, ‘How do you plan to approach him?”

“We’ll send him a text asking if we can take care of Axel!”

Tyler: [I’m just stating the truth. Haven’t you noticed Axel’s declining health and weight loss?]

Evan fell silent. Axel had lost weight recently, but he attributed it to Axel’s claims of having a

poor appetite. Thus, he hadn’t taken him to see a doctor. Maybe it was time to reconsider.
