To Be Yours Again novel (Jenny and Alex)
Chapter 634 You Don't Like Me at All?

Even though Alec had lost his memory, he had seen pictures of Jenny, so he recognized her the moment she appeared. He had the impulse to rush over and hug her, but he resisted. On the one hand, it was because they were in Faust Manor, and on the other hand, he chalked his desire to embrace as his unresolved psychological issue.

"What are you doing here?" he asked coldly.

He had no intention of telling anyone about his amnesia as he thought it was unnecessary since he could learn everything about himself from the information he had been given. If others knew about his amnesia, they might do something to him.

Jenny didn't understand why he was being so cold. He had only been missing for a few days, so why did it seem like he had changed completely? She had already decided to reconcile with him, but he behaved as if he didn't like her one bit, as if his previous affection had been forced.

"I thought I was clear enough," Alec said, looking at Jenny stoically.

At that moment, Jenny felt a chill in her heart. "You mean to say you don't like me at all?" she asked.

He nodded without hesitation, although it sent a stab of pain through him. He tried hard to suppress it so that no one would notice. Although they were alone in the living room at the moment, Alec knew that many people were secretly watching them.

He didn't want to show any unusual behavior or want Jenny to be targeted because of him. Although his previous affection for her was due to psychological reasons, they used to be married. He didn't hate her; he just didn't want to be involved with her anymore.

Jenny stared at Alec, trying to find any trace of emotion that showed he was lying, but there was none. He genuinely meant what he had said.

Jenny wasn't stubborn. If Alec hadn't insisted, she wouldn't have considered reconciling with him. Since he had changed his mind, she had nothing to say to him. It would be better that way-they should've gone their separate ways since their divorce.

Taking a deep breath, she forced a smile. "Okay, remember that you're the one who said it." She hoped he would keep his word. Even if he came to her again, she wouldn't give him another chance. When Jenny turned around and left, Alec didn't follow her. He just watched her leave with a frown on his face.

In the living room, the head of the Faust family called her over, and Jenny didn't refuse his request. Since she was there, she had to pay her respects to him.

When she reached the study, Jenny saw an elderly man whose hair had all turned white. Although his face was covered in wrinkles, he still exuded a sense of majesty. He was Zeke Faust, the current head of the Faust family. Just the mere utterance of his name was sufficient to make outsiders shudder, which was a testament to how powerful he was.

"Hello, Mr. Faust. I'm Jenny," she greeted him calmly. She wasn't afraid of him, and it wasn't just because she was a part of the Walters-she had never been afraid of anyone since she was young. Zeke nodded back at her expressionlessly. "Miss Walter, is your father doing well?"

After a brief exchange of pleasantries, Zeke suddenly talked about Alec. "I heard you were once married to Alec?"

"Yes, it was a long time ago. We have been divorced for a long time," Jenny answered, not knowing why he asked about this.
