"You really know how to reject someone," Alfred said. Jenny was not giving him a chance at all. "Is it because you still like Alec?" he asked. He was really curious to know what Alec had.

The question stunned Jenny. Truthfully, she had no idea. She didn't mind if he was nearby but wouldn't think about being together with him.

"Oh well. You haven't even figured it out." Alfred didn't plan on pressing the subject. From an outsider's perspective, Jenny liked Alec But since Jenny was the one involved, she wouldn't be able to see the wood from the trees. He didn't reveal it since he'd gained nothing from it. In fact, he wished that Alec would never be happy.
