like an irregular stone

dropped from the Heavens.

Gravity yanks me down,

and I know the ground -

if there is a ground -

is rushing up to meet me.

Arms flailing,

stomach turned inside out,

I fly in reverse – down.

And the wind roars

an angry sound,

as the blood pumping in my veins

pounds, pounds.

I go down.
