Chapter 9: Little Secret

While I was in my room alone, I decided to wore my gown then create music just on my mind and started to memorized every steps that Lady Lumina teached us. We don’t have rehearsal today, I don’t know the reason why. But im thankful because I can be with myself just for today. I started hamming music.

I step my feet backward, forward then hold my gown and turn around. Good thing because my partner is a good handler. He teaches me well and everytime I made a wrong steps, he just whispered ’Just believe in your self! You can do it!.. I secretly smiled and continued dancing like a princess.

“I was right. Your a fast learner.” i heared a familiar voice coming from my back. I immediately opened my eyes and turn around. I was so surprised, it was Hans. How come I wasn’t able to recognized his presence. Did he knock on my door? Maybe I’m really out of my mind that’s why I don’t hear him entering. My face is blushing and I felt it was turning onto red right now.

" What are you doing here?” I asked him just to interrupt his attention and wasn’t able to see me like this. This is not the first time, I felt like that. It started when the first of the dancing lesson.

“Oh! I’m sorry for interrupting you. I knocked trice but you don’t heared it. The door is open so I sneak out and saw you dancing. I guess your really serious.” he explained. I felt so imbarrased. Do I looked like a dumb crazy dancing without any sound?

“Its okey. ” I said,

“No kidding aside, your good as I expected. Your a good dancer. You had a hidden talent. Five days, is enough for you to learn. I’m not wrong of choosing you at first’..

"Did you say something? I asked him.

“Ahm, I said the Prince is lucky if you will win this competition. I’m wishing you luck Chloe.” he replied and smiled.

That smile has something but I don’t know what it is. My heart keeps on beating fast everytime his near. He really have a smile that any girl could ’loved. And that pair of hazelnuts eyes is so intimidating. I wish I met him before I enter this competition. A sudden sadness hit me. I have a choice anyway, I could quit this but half of my mind tells me to win this. Why I felt this urge to win? When at first im not really interested in this. Haiisss.. I breathe deeply.

“Are you okey? he worriedly asked me.

“No. I’m sorry! I just remembered something. By the way, what are you doing her? I asked him.

“Ahm, as you can remember. This is the fifth day of your dancing lesson. And Lady Lumina, told us that you all already passed the training. That’s why you don’t have a training today. So I asked the headmaster, if I can see you to say goodluck. ” he explained. Now I know the reason why. How sad its the last time I could see him. How I wish.

I smiled at him. ” T-thank you.” I said,

“I have to go. See you around. he said, then turn his back and walked out the door. His ready gone. But wait. What did he say?

’See you around?′ is that mean I can see him around. I don’t know what to think. But im still hoping.

Froilan announced that we can tour the whole palace except the forest. Everybody is excited, Gaile and Faye accompany me. We decided to go outside and our feets lead us to the palace garden. Different varieties of flowers are surrounded, with different colors and different beauty. Just like us ladies, we have our own beauty. We sat on the bench that located on the center of the garden.

“G-gaile...” Faye said,

“Huh?. Gaile looked at Faye’s direction.

“If you win this competition. Don’t forget us huh?” she replied.

A sweetest laugh painted on her face. “Off course. We are friends now and friends always be friends. But the competition is not yet over. Maybe one of us will win or from the other ladies.” she added, and one thing I have to tell you girls.” Faye and I looked at her with curiosity.

“What it is?” I asked her.

“Did you remember the day when I argue with Freda? she asked. Then I remember that day. Freda insulted us especially me.

“I’m not just an ordinary girl like you. I came from the kingdom called Siberia. I am a child of King Lawton and Queen Eliza, royal blood is flowing inside my body.” she explained. While we are on shock.

“Really? I knew it. The first time I saw you, I know that something’s different with you.” I said.

“I’m sorry for not telling you the truth. I was afraid at first that you might distance from me. But I was wrong, you gaiz are true friends. Maybe you don’t have the royal blood but being a royal is not just only the blood, most importantly is the character’s that you had.”

“Wow! I really can’t believe it. Your a real princess in your kingdom. That was really cool. But why you chose to be with us? Those girls, are like you.” Faye asked her.

“Like I said, you gaiz are different from the other girls. And I know that you will be a good friend of mine and look im not wrong of making friends with you two.”

Having a friend with a royal blood is cool. We are so lucky to meet Gaile, oh I mean ‘Princess Gaile’. She deserved to win than the other girls. If she win this, I know Kingdom Oreon will be managed will. Despite of knowing the real identity of Gaile being a Princess. Our friendship still remain, nothing has change. She treat us like a normal ladies. I have so much story to tell Amber. If I could see them for once.
