“I know we have all had our differences, and I have made some mistakes, pretty big mistakes, especially where my Lottie is concerned.” I started to say as I handed out drinks to my Alpha, Luna, would have been father-in-law and his now, soon to be son-in-law.
“Sorry!” I nodded to Kane, who looked like he was about to have a seizure, as he glared at me. “She is not my Lottie anymore, but Kane and Knox’s something I have only myself to blame.” I expressed, slapping Kane on the shoulder, grinning at the way his b*dy tensed under my touch; the ba sta rd obviously thought he was

“Maybe if I had treated her better and like the princess she was, I would have been able to make her happy.” I voiced, nodding between my Alpha and his Beta.
Kane’s face said it all; he thought I was full of sh it, which of course, I was. However, to all those blinded by my dazzling smile and heartfelt words, I seemed sincere in my regret.

“But realistically, in our world, males and females find their mates daily; it’s not like I am the first person to be abandoned because the person they thought they were meant to spend their life with has chosen to mate with another!” Nodding to Kane, I bowed my head softly, stepping in front of him.
“I do hope we can put this behind us, Kane, for Lottie. I think that’s best for her, don’t you?” I offered him my hand in the way of friendship. His eyes lowered to my outstretched hand like it was coated in horse sh it or something equally as

“By telling him you are backing down? That they can have my daughter?! Are you f ucking delirious!” He barked, irritated.
