Chapter 77 " War, Fighting, Danger!"

Elijah P.O.V.

"Dude! We must hurry before someone tries to catch up with us and take Avery away." I heard Jake say in my mind.

He didn't want to say it to Avery and worry her. When that happened in the cafeteria, I didn't know Avery would throw out her scent when she was in heat, when she got angry and possessive over Jake and me, and when another she-wolf rubbed all her scent on us. Avery has seen that and lets all the she-wolves back off, and we are taken, she told them by releasing her scent. But when she did that, she didn't just let it off for the females and the males.

So now we are out in the woods walking after she dragged us out the school hallway where everyone else is in the lunchroom; our school is small with three hundred students and twenty-five teachers because everyone knows each other in our small town in Virginia. We live in the rich part of the town, but it's not bad here with the people because no one is homeless or starving. After all, it's middle class with great jobs and homes, and we live in the rich part of town and are a great community with our neighbors.

Anyway, so that's what's going on right now. So, we try to hide her away from the horny un-mated males, and we are trying to keep them away from her. That was when Jake and I decided to hide her in our secret safe house near the packhouse.

"Where are we going?"

"You going to tell me or are you just going to ignore me." She kept asking questions, but we kept blocking her out to mind the link and wondered if we would make it there in one piece. That was when she kept talking and asking more questions.

"I am hungry, and I need food."

I hear Avery tell us, but we are not paying attention to her because we are discussing what we will do once we get there.

"Avery wants down. Do you think you can put her down, Jake?" I tell him, but he shakes his head and sighs, and he says no, not yet.

"It's not safe, Elijah!" I can't do that. What if something awful happens to her? I could never forgive myself if she got hurt or killed. Because of me," So, I can't put her down until we get there. Where she is safe inside the house." I hear him tell me in my mind.

"Yes, he's right, Elijah," I heard Axel, my wolf, tell me in my mind. I know that, but she wants down. I know she is already mad at us because we were kidnapping her. But she did grab us out of the school, well dragged us more like it, because she didn't like the girl on our lap flirting and kissing us.

Avery P.O.V.

I am so bored, and I want down. But this asshole who got me over his shoulder isn't listening when I tell him to stop and put me down. So instead, he ignores me and chuckles and smacks my ass.

"Ahhh... and Ugh... I said out of my mouth.

"Hey, don't touch me!" I tell him with scorn on my face and anonymous in my voice.

"Oh, come on, princess." We know you like it when we touch you." I heard Elijah behind us, but he felt closer like he was talking right inside my ear with his seductive deep voice, making my body shiver and quiver. When my body felt goosebumps, it was not ever cold outside. What is wrong with me? I am an idiot; it's not from the cold because it's how they make me react to Elijah and Jake's touch.

Oh, God, I must calm down before they smell my pussy soaking wet. I can't help it. Because I found my mates. When a female wolf finds her mate and she doesn't mate with her male wolf, it will be so unbearable when this happens because she is so out of it, and she will fuck the first male that comes her way. So, it's essential when we are with our mate, not some unmated asshole trying to hurt and fuck us!

That is when I must remind myself to hold in my groans and moans when a male comes my way. So now Elijah and Jake started to growl and groan when they heard footsteps behind us.

"E, we are being followed." I heard Jake tell him. Oh, no! I felt my breathing, overwhelming strange sensation took over my heart. I know who it is following us. No one makes me think this sick to my stomach, then...

"Well... where you are going off to fellas and with my prey." He said when I saw him standing there watching us with his hands crossed over his chest with a cocky and sinister smirk, but he wasn't alone. Standing by his side was Matthew, staring at me with heat and want in his eyes. I saw the evilness in their eyes. Oh, God, this is not good. Nope, not good at all.

"Oh, no, not Andrew, Matthew!" I thought I had said it, but I didn't know I had whispered his name out loud. I am so scared. I know my panic is coming, and I try to breathe normally, but nothing is happening. I felt my chest hurting because now my eyes were ringing, and I couldn't heal what they were saying, and I felt my heart would beat out of my chest.

Please, God, don't let them come near me and grab me, and I thought with a lick of my lips, oh God, once they kill and hold me, they will hurt me. I didn't know that I said his and Matthew's name out loud, and they turned their head back at me and stared straight at me with their head tilted to the side like he was cracking his neck. Oh, no, I know that sign when he cracks his neck. He is getting ready to fight.

I was so scared. I started holding Jake tight and wanted him to put me down early, but not now. I don't want him and Elijah to leave me alone with these two; I want them to protect me and save me from the nightmares before me. Andrew and Matthew are crazy and scary guys; you don't want to be near them. So, you're lucky not to crossfire and be at their pace with these two because your set not bullied by these monsters. I mean monsters. Well, put it this way in words you can understand.

You get the picture, anyway, all bad guys' period.

That was when I saw all four of them crack their knuckles, and I felt my feet hit the ground because I was knocked off Jake's shoulders. I didn't even know what hit me. That was when I realized Jake didn't throw me off, but Andrew ran into him like a dump truck. That is how I can describe how he ran into Jake's body. On the ground, I saw Jake and Andrew in the all-fistfight punching and rolling on the floor, and I heard Elijah and Matthew gruntling and moaning in pain. I saw both having it all-out battle too. Oh, God, it looks like full-out war and darkness came over us, and now, I am sitting here on the ground watching my life going down in the toilet because if they win. It's game over for me. In better words, I am fucked!

Hey, everything is going to be okay, Avery," I heard in my mind.

"Now you come back!" I rolled my eyes at Angelstar, and Angelica said simultaneously.

"What! I know we are going to be okay." I know our mates are not going to let anyone hurt us?" I heard Angelstar say in her know- it- all voice. I wanted to kill her right now. But I don't think it's the time to start being sarcastic mocking bitch!"

Go get Axel and Ax!" I tell her. We need them." I tell her, growling in the back of my mind.

"Oh, they are (giggles under her breath) indisposed, if you know what I mean," she said with a wink.

"What! Well, get them up." I said with a yell.

She groaned and rolled her eyes.

"Quit being a crybaby." She tells me.

"Ugh... if I could get my hands on her, I would. But I was getting angry, and she was not helping.

"Angelstar, how will this help if you keep being annoying? Stop it!" I tell her.

"Okay, fine, hold on." She tells me. I'll back right back." I am still waiting inside my mind to send help. So, I am praying to God. Please, God, let Elijah and Jake don't get killed! Don't let them loose. I know what will happen if they lose, and I don't want to think about that. But right now, I am crossing my fingers and praying to God nothing terrible happens to them.
