Chapter 74 "I Love Them"

Avery P.O.V.

I can't believe I left them there with their mouth open wide and didn't care this time. I am not going to be their walking joke anymore. I will change my attitude and be more outgoing and demanding like Ashely, my cousin, and best friend. I will start taking up for myself and not be someone's slave and punching the bag anymore. This will be a different Avery Williams, and I am never going back to being the loser, shy and quiet wallflower anymore. I told myself never to be that girl again. So, I thought about what if I couldn't stand up to them and others that wanted to hurt me. So, I walked down the hall and around the corner. I kept walking until I saw two figures walking down the aisle when I saw my two best friends. I didn't see myself yet because they walked, looked side to side, and talked. I don't know what they discussed, but it was about me.

I started walking through the hall door; when I rounded the corner, I saw Ashely and Natalie, and they were looking for something or someone; when they turned their heads, they stared at me, and I realized it was me were looking for.

"Hey! Where the hell have you been, Avery!" Ashely said when grabbing me.

"Umm, I was in the bathroom," I told them I didn't want them to know I was in trouble, and I was with my mates. They would not understand, and Ashely would bet the hell out of Matthew and the guys because she didn't take anyone's shit, and

I wish I were like her. I try not to show them I am lying because if they see I am, they will never forgive me and believe me. If I tell them something ever again. I don't want that kind of relationship with my friends. They are essential in my life. I don't want to lose them.

"Oh, I heard Natalie say with a tiny blush; she is always the shy one in our friend group.

So, now you're okay and out of the bathroom; are you ready for class yet?" I heard Ashely say with a knowing look in her eyes. She knew I was lying. But she didn't say anything but yelled in the hallway.

"WHAT UP!" She yells.

"Shh, Ashely, you'll get us in trouble." I don't want to be in trouble and never have detention! I hear Natalie say in her goodie-two voice. I wanted to laugh and tell her yeah, right, Ashely, get in trouble. I was trying to calm Natalie down because she had a panic attack; I saw her face, which was pale. She had no color in her cheeks, and she kept saying repeatedly.

"My parent will kill me if I get in trouble. I can't be grounded. I can't; he will be angry at me." She said under her breath and mumbled.

What does she mean by that he will be angry at me? I wanted to ask, but we just started walking to our first-period class.

"Oh, Thank God! I hate Math." I heard Ashely say a while, rubbing her forehead. Yeah, like she had a headache, but the headache went away when she started rubbing her forehead.

I heard her sigh. But before we got our books and backpack on my back and went to the door, we heard Ashely growl when Jayson opened his mouth.

"Hey, my crazy girl." You were going to kiss me." I heard him say with a laugh and smacking his lips at her showing him he wanted that kiss.

"Fuck off, Woods!" I hear Ashely growl in her throat, staring at Jayson Woods. But I don't see him snarling or giving her a rude look, but he gives her a wink and a smile.

"Give it up, sweetheart; you know you want me." He said with a wink and walked out the door before us. I saw Ashely staring at him, and I could see something I never did in her eyes, and that was it was confirmed she did want him. Wow, my cousin finally got beat by someone who came at her. And she didn't know what to say.

She was speechless when it became Jayson Woods now! When I was thinking about what was happening with my cousin, the guy got under her skin. I didn't see Elijah and Jake staring at me in front of the door. But they didn't try to talk to me or come near me. They just stared at me. They listened to me, telling me to leave me alone. I should be happy, but why do I feel sad and lonely? I saw them turn around and walk out behind their friends and girls, trailing behind them, giggling going out the door. I sighed and waited until they were gone and walked out with my two best friends, watching the same thing happen to them with their boys that they loved too. What have I done; I don't want them to leave me alone. I want them back.

Lunch Time...

After I got my salad and water, I was not very hungry. Because all day in class, I kept seeing the bimbo groupers falling all over my mates and making out with them. I wanted to kill them! I had to hold off Angelstar and Angelica back before they came out and tore them apart. I started walking toward Ashely and Natalie, and they weren't paying attention when I sat down. Because I wasn't either, I had my jealous eyes at the other end of the lunchroom staring at this bimbo blonde-headed girl rubbing up on Jake and Elijah; she was in the middle, and I saw Elijah touching her hip and waist and kissing behind her neck. Then I saw Jake kissing her lips and grabbing hold of her hair. They both were staring at me when they were making out with this blonde chick. I wanted to murder her. How dare she touch what's mine.

"They are mine!" I said with a growl. That was when I got up, ran over there, and knocked her off their laps.

"What the fuc- "She didn't get to finish because I grabbed both my mate's hands and pulled out the door. I didn't care if they didn't want to go. They were going if I had a say in it. If I must attack them to come, so be it. I didn't feel they hesitated to get away and pull away from me. I heard Jake rubbing my hand on his back with so much kindness and love. But I heard Elijah chuckle and kept keeping up with my pace. I don't understand what's happening to me.

"Well, Avery sweetie, you got jealous, and you knew they are mates, and you will not let anyone get in your way, not even little blonde bitches you just knocked out of their laps." I heard Angelstar say with a snarl and a growl. I sighed and knew what was happening because my anger had calmed down.

Now I am making a fool out of myself in front of the whole school in the lunchroom, and now everyone knows the wallflower and nerd is a freak and crazy nut that just kidnapped the two most popular guys in our school. But, of course, they didn't put up a fight. Oh boy, what have I done? I wanted to die right now!

Then I finally realized I was jealous, and I love them! Yes, I am in love with Elijah Woods and Jake Stone! When I was still walking and pulling them away from the school, I knew I wanted to tell them how much I wanted to show them how much I love them. I thought with a blush. Tonight, is the night I am going to give myself to them. I will provide them with my love and body. I hope they won't break my heart and destroy me.
