Chapter 44 "Bathroom, Party, Heat, Mate"

Elijah P.O.V.

Five minutes ago...

When I walked in on Jake and Avery in a sexual encounter when Avery was on her knees trying to give Jake head a while, she was asleep. I still don't understand how that happened when she was fast asleep. But Jake was trying to wake her and stop her by telling her, "Avery, stop, wake up, sweetheart." But she didn't listen because she was asleep. But then I had to wake her up by doing something, so I planned to take her and wake her up with something to surprise her. So, I got the idea to take her to the bathroom. So, that is what I did.

The bathroom...

I walked through the door and sat her down on a chair, and I walked over toward the bathtub and started the bathwater, which was coming out like a lovely hot waterfall. But, of course, she will be surprised and angry at me for placing her in the bathtub. So, I thought with a nervous laugh and a smirk on my face.

When I saw the hot was filled, I went over and stopped it, and I took my hand and bent down to feel the water, which was just suitable for the touch.

So, I didn't wait to put her in the water with clothes. When I threw her in, I saw her open her eyes and stare at me with an unbelievable look. Then, I heard her let out a scream and start spitting out water at me. I tried to move, but it was too late; she got me in the face. I leaped and started rubbing my eyes so I could see. Like she could not believe I just threw her in the water with her clothes on. Would she be angry if I stripped off her clothes, or would she be okay with it? That is a question I am thinking about right now. I heard her say.

"Why? did you do that, Elijah!" She looked shocked and mad. If looks could kill, I would be dead now, I thought. She Stood up and shoveled me out of the way, but I stopped her from getting away from me. That was when Jake walked into the bathroom when I grabbed her arm and pulled her closer to me.

"Let me go, you asshole!" She said with annoyance on her face. She didn't want me touching her because she was pissed off, but I could smell her scent, and she was turned on. So, I took a deep breath, and my eyes turned dark.

"No! Axel, it would help if you stayed inside," I told him.

"But-mate, she smells so good." He said with a groan in the back of my mind.

"Oh, I know she does, but she's not ready, and she has no idea we are her mates yet?" I heard Jake say in my mind. I wanted them to stop yelling inside my mind at each other.

"Hey! Fellas, stop yelling in my head; you're giving me a headache, and we need to calm down before we scare her away again," I told them, and they both shut up and let kept trying to talk and stop Avery from leaving, and she can stand here, and speak to Jake and me.

I was in my mind trying to hold on to Avery, so she tried to wiggle out of my hold, but she had a problem. I am too firm, and she is weak right now because she is tired when your mate is beside or around you. You become weak until you are mated and marked by your mate.

"Please, let me go, Elijah; I just want out of here." She said, shriving, then I forgot she was wet, and I could see her nipples through her shirt. I didn't want to look, but my eyes had their mind, so I licked my lips, and she was starting behind me. I saw her eyes were dark, and she was not here with us; she is, but not in mind.

"Shh, calm down, sweetheart, I grabbed her around the waist, and then I heard her yelp when I picked her back up, and I started walking her back into the bedroom, and I sat her on her bed.

"Why are you in my room still?" She asked me. So she was talking to me but wasn't looking at me. So, I slowly walked towards her and told her she had a bad dream.

" Sweetheart, I told her you had a bad dream, so I picked you up out of bed and took you to the bathroom." And I placed you in the warm water to wake you up." I told her with a corner expression on my face. I know I lied to her because she was asleep trying to give him oral sex interaction with Jake and didn't know she was doing it.

"Oh, she said. But still didn't look at me. She kept her eyes on something or somebody behind us, so I knew Jake was in the room because he was speaking inside my mind. But I ignored him because I was trying to calm down Avery; she was not afraid of us.

"Avery! It's okay, and I heard Jake say. So, he started moving closer and walking past me toward Avery on her bed. I can see her sitting on the bed, holding her face and breathing heavily. But then Jake sat beside her on the bed, rubbing her back and kissing her head. Then I wanted to sit beside her, so I walked over towards her, sat on the bed, and started holding her hand in mine and rubbing it back and forth with my fingers. But then I heard her tiny, sweet voice.

" Are you two, my mate?" She asked Jake and me. I looked up at Jake; he was staring at me, and we both thought the same thing. But the only thing that came out of my mouth was.

" Yes, we are your mates." Then I grabbed her chin, pulled her lips towards mine, and kissed her lips.
