Chapter 38 "Doctor Xavier Wolfe, Found out Mates!"

Avery P.O.V.

Ouch! I thought inside my head, and I was holding on to it. I felt it pounding, then I woke up with a headache and started sitting up. Why was I sitting up on the bed? I thought to myself. That's not right. I was outside on the football field in gym class, and now I was in a where the heck I was at? I started looking around, and I saw white walls, a sink with a mask and cotton bottle on top of the sink, and a blood pressure cup to check my blood pressure. Whoever the nurse is today.

I thought in my head again, and it started to hurt more.

"Well, what you expect, huh?" I heard Angelstar say with attitude in my mind. I rolled my eyes.

"What you expect me to do, huh? Let whoever kill him," I replied with the same attitude.

Then I heard her grunt, and she sighed and stopped talking to me. So, she is mad at me now for my response back at her. Well, she deserved it. Bitch! I thought to myself.

"God, you can be bitchy sometimes, I heard the nurse say and giggled at someone walking inside the door. I turned my head and saw a pretty nurse with bright green eyes talking on her phone and not paying attention to me on the bed.

"Umm, hello, nurse? Why I am in here." I asked her, but she didn't say or look over at me. Instead, she kept talking to whoever was on the phone with her. So, I tried again.

"Hello, ma'am, I started waving my arms in front of me. But I can feel my eyes are a little off, and I can barely see her now after she walks inside the room. I did see well when she walked in, but her eyes were so bright, and now I was a little blind when I stared into her eyes. I closed my eyes, and I rubbed my eyes to try to get the

blur to stop, and my eyes go back to normal.

Once I open them up again, I can see, but there is probably no nurse inside the room with me now. How the heck? I am confused now. Then I heard the door open, and I saw Elijah and Jake walking inside the door with a handsome guy with black hair, crystal blue eyes, and a smile that could have the girls drop to their knees to worship him. But I snapped out of it when he started holding up a notepad, writing things down, and a name tag on the right side of his breast pocket.

I started to blush because he looked at me with a knowing look on his face, I was checking him out, and now I was embarrassed because he had caught me. I looked down and away from his handsome face. I forgot Elijah and Jake were inside the room with us, and when I turned my head, I saw their faces, and they weren't happy. I wonder why they have angry expressions on their faces. I wanted to tell them they don't have to be in here. I am fine, but something told me to let them stay.

"Hello, Miss Williams, I am Doctor Wolfe, but you can call me Xavier." He replied with a cocky grin. I could not speak, so I nodded at the handsome doctor. He stared at me for a long time, but that was how it felt: five seconds. Then he licked his lips, which made me feel very uncomfortable, and I thanked God Elijah and Jake were inside the room with me. I felt like they could protect me. Finally, he stopped staring at me with back to his notepad and started writing down answers and questions.

"Well, Miss Williams, you had one hard fall." He asked me a question with a cocky grin back on his handsome face, and now I could see how he was. That is an asshole and a prick. He thinks he is a great guy and catches but is a cocky player. I feel sorry for his mate and don't think he will be loyal and faithful to her.

"She was outside, and we didn't mean to hurt her doctor." I heard one of the guys say with a snarl in his voice at him. Oh, I hoped they start fighting in here. I want to avoid being in here if they start fighting.

"Oh, you guys hit this beautiful creature before me." He said back at the guys by the side of the wall in the corner. I didn't know they were standing. I didn't want this creature near me. I felt sick to my stomach, and when I tried not to think about this awful man before me, he did something. I wanted to puke. He started touching my hair when he got close to me. So, I held up my hand, grabbed him, and threw it away.

"I am okay, Doctor Wolfe." Can I leave now" I told him with demand in my voice and looked.

"Could you not touch me again?"

"Hey, now! Don't be that way, sweetheart." We can be great friends if you let me." He said with a twinkle in his eye. But it's not that but something sinister and evil. He was trying to touch me again. I moved away from him and held my head back, so he didn't try to stroke my hair.

"I said when I can leave," I told him again with a growl inside my throat and blocked his hand, trying to grab my hair again. Then I heard a growl behind me, and I was shocked at what I heard next.

"DON'T FUCKING TOUCH OUR MATE AGAIN!" I turned my head and didn't feel or see the doctor anymore. Instead, I saw him getting attacked by two big handsome wolves. One was blue and Black.
