"A big deal?" Renee sneered. "I'm sorry for my ignorance, but I don't know what you're talking about."

"The kids are going to take their graduation photos. As their father, don't you think I should have been informed?" Stefan sounded displeased. He felt that graduating from kindergarten and stepping into elementary school was an important phase in a kid's life, and as a father, he had to be present for it.

Honestly, she was happy to see Stefan, and she was just saying those things hoping he would tell her that he had nothing to do with Briar... but he wasn't denying it. It seemed like his relationship with Briar was serious, and it infuriated Renee. "A hypocrite? Then, I'll apologize!" Stefan suddenly pulled Renee to him, and leaned close to whisper in her ear. "I know that you resent me, but can't we resolve this privately for the kids' sake? Don't make them outcasts. " Then, he hugged Renee's waist and said loudly, Dear, why are you behaving like a child? I've only been away from Beach City for a while, but you've clearly missed me so much. I know you're unhappy I left, but don't you feel shy making a scene like this?"

clenched her fists in frustration. She forced a smile onto her face as she jabbed Stefan's stomach sharply. "Of course, darling. I missed you so much that I couldn't sleep. Luckily, you came today, or else I'd have to teach you a lesson!"

"Okay, dear. I've made a mistake. Here's a kiss to make it up to you." Stefan closed his eyes and kissed Renee's forehead gently.

The parents who had gathered there felt awkward watching them and quickly left. They felt that they had been forced to witness Renee and Stefan's romance.
