Henry was on cloud nine upon seeing Melanie. “Mel, why are you here?”

Melanie was taken aback. “Why are you here?”

“Henry said he wants to get something for a friend and asked me to accompany him,” said Clara with a smile. “I wanted to give you a ride when I met you, but in the end, we met here. Looks like we are destined to meet each other today.”

on me.”

Clara smiled and said nothing more.

Henry’s face was gloomy, and he took Melanie by her hand. “Come on, Melanie. Let’s go and grab something to eat.”

Melanie was reluctant to have any more conversations with Viola. Moreover, she could sense Viola’s

malicious intention toward her.

It was better to be careful.

Clara had booked a table in a restaurant nearby. It was a traditional Asian cuisine restaurant, Henry’s favorite. The dishes were ordered according to Henry’s taste.

Henry loved eating fish, and there were many dishes on the table. He looked at Melanie approvingly, then at Clara, as he lamented, “It’s better spending the time with you two than those at home.”
