The divine soldiers instantly perked up upon hearing what Darryl said. They quickly made

their move and chased after Scitalis, all while they shouted.

"Stop running!"

"Surrender yourself now!"

soldiers were moving at the speed of light.

Scitalis panicked when he saw the divine soldiers chasing after him and quickly picked up

the pace. In the blink of an eye, the divine soldiers and Scitalis were out of sight.

Finally, Darryl felt relieved. He then wanted to return to the cave and free Debra and

Rachelle.

F*ck! It's all this armor’s fault that I got captured by Debra and Rachelle," he scowled

mentally and thought about taking off the armor while walking back to the cave.

Suddenly, another group of divine soldiers arrived from far away, making Darryl quickly

stop and tidy his armor. "Tsk! How many soldiers have Master Magaera sent for patrol?"

"General?" The group of divine soldiers arrived. The leader of the divine soldiers asked

respectfully, "What happened here?"

As he asked, he could not help but examine Darryl from top to bottom, unable to stop

himself from thinking that his general was...weak for being bruised up like this.

"I'm alright!" Darryl brushed it off lightly. "I met a remnant of the hidden Hero Sect just

now and fought for a few rounds. He was very powerful, and I failed to capture him." Then,

Darryl pointed in the direction Scitalis ran off to. "He ran that way. You should go quickly

and capture him."

Debra and Rachelle were inside the cave behind him. He could not let these divine soldiers

"You've done well, general," the leader of the divine soldiers said politely after hearing the

whole story from Darryl. Then, he shouted at the other divine soldiers, "Everyone, take a

search around. Check if there are any more remnants of the Hidden Hero Sect hiding

around here. Remember to search

closely."

The other divine soldiers nodded and were about to spread out to do the search.

"F*ck!" Darryl panicked and quickly stopped them. "There's no need to search anymore; I

did a quick sweep here. Other than the one who ran away, no one else is here."

The divine soldiers stopped when they saw how serious Darryl was. Followingly, the leader

of the divine soldiers said to Darryl, "General, you're injured. Let us escort you back."

Darryl felt awkward. He was just an imposter and had made a fool out of Master Magaera.

Would it not be equivalent to surrendering if he went back with the divine soldiers?

Truthfully speaking, Darryl wanted to fight with the divine soldiers now, but his power had

not recovered yet. If he acted recklessly and was unable to put out those divine soldiers,

his identity would be exposed and attract more divine soldiers.

can meditate and rest here for a while. You can head back first."

The divine soldiers exchanged looks with each other.
