The Supreme God of Martial Arts
Chapter 425 Austin Palace (Part One)

The Royal Palaces were a series of the most extensive and luxurious buildings in the imperial capital city.

All of them were constructed in beautiful areas where colorful flowers and towering trees grew. Their airs were rich with the fragrances of different plants.

Thanks to the variety of flora that grew around them, the air was always fresh and clean and also contained a rather large amount of vital energy. Iridescent clouds floated above the buildings like fairy tales and the atmosphere was that of grandeur.

Several small bridges and rivers were laid out among the buildings, cutting through here and there, and the lawns were decorated with artificial hills and fountains. People could hear beautifully played string every time they walked along the cobblestone pathways. Things really were fairy tale in here.

Among these buildings, one of the palaces was now granted to Austin as a reward for his performance. The emperor had even gone so far as to name the palace after Austin as an expression of his appreciation for his talent.

Reuben, the youngest prince was now so fond of Austin that he led a troop of his followers and waited at the gate of the imperial palace when Austin was about to leave. The latter's championship in the Outstanding Talents Exchange Games had earned the young prince a great honour, and it was going to work to his great advantage in the competition for the throne.

Undoubtedly, Austin was the one who had made the greatest contribution for Reuben's campaign.

To show his gratitude, Reuben specially waited for Austin at the gate of the imperial palace. In fact, he had even asked his men to prepare for a banquet to celebrate Austin's victory, apart from several other rewards. However, Austin obviously wasn't in the mood for a party after hearing about Evan and Herbert. He immediately, though politely refused the prince's invitation and decided to return to his palace to prepare. He needed to be ready for all kinds of situations before he set out to rescue his two friends.

Austin knew clearly that all the members of the Blood Wolf Team were cruel and vicious men. They were all known for having committed countless crimes of killing and robbing. The longer Evan and Herbert were with that group of men, the more danger they would be in. Therefore, Austin wanted to save them as soon as possible. Nonetheless, there were two things that he needed to take care of beforehand. First of all, he had to find the site of the Blood Wolf Team's stronghold in the imperial capital city. And, secondly, he needed to find out how strong their forces and defenses were.

Austin had reached the preliminary stage of the Mysterious Realm during the Outstanding Talents Exchange Games. Previously, he had no other choice but to flee in the face of stronger enemies who were at the Mysterious Realm. Thanks to his new breakthrough in martial arts, he would now be able to fight Abbott, the leader of the Blood Wolf Team. He already knew that Abbott was at the medium stage of the Mysterious Realm which could no longer pose any threat to Austin. Legends said that every dragon was known to have a scale on its throat touching which, would cause the beast to go in a fit of rage. Similarly, people had important and loved ones too, whom they couldn't bear to see get hurt. For Austin, Evan and Herbert were these important people and if anyone tried to hurt them, he would lose his temper.

So it was obvious that Abbott had pressed Austin's buttons by kidnapping his friends. Austin decided that he would fight to the death with the Blood Wolf Team this time to rescue his friends and get rid of this nuisance once and for all.

After refusing Reuben's invitation, Austin headed for the Royal Palaces directly and returned to his own palace.

He headed for his palace and as soon as he arrived there, he was taken aback by the spectacular scenery inside.

The ground was paved with snow white jade bricks and the walls were inlaid with gold. Chic pavilions were built near small, beautiful ponds and numerous small waterfalls hung on artificial hills like long pieces of cloth. There was a growth of beautiful flowers and trees everywhere and the water in the ponds came from mountain springs. It was said that drinking this water could prolong one's lifespan.

Many unique and rare animals of various kinds were reared in special areas inside the palace. There were white mandarin ducks, white cranes, white apes, flood dragon horses, yellow warblers, thrushes, turtledoves, parrots... In fact, the assortment was too great to count and many were so rare that Austin couldn't even name them.

An abundant supply of spiritual energy of the heavens and the earth filled the air and formed auspicious clouds around the place. It was a real paradise!

Austin nodded in appreciation as he scanned the entire palace with his spiritual sense.

He was surprised by the emperor's great generosity. True he had won the championship but this!

Austin had never seen such a luxurious and splendid building in his entire past. His joy increased when he thought about the fact that it already belonged to him. The very thought of owning it felt like a daydream.

However, his mood quickly darkened when he thought about the serious matters that he needed to deal with, and he had to stop appreciating the palace and turn a serious face.

He walked up to the gate and stepped inside. Right over the gates, a gold-edged plaque was hanging by fine threads and support and was inscribed with the words "Austin Palace”. This was the emperor's handiwork no doubt.

Even before Austin arrived at his palace, a large number of people were already busy working inside his palace. Female servants swept leaves off the pathways outside the main hall. Guards stood to attention at every door. Numerous other servants walked through different halls and did the heavy work. Everyone was in high spirits and worked with vigour.

These were the 2, 500 servants that the emperor had promised to send to Austin's palace

When they noticed Austin's arrival, everyone stopped dead in their tracks and immediately knelt down on the ground to greet him respectfully.

"Welcome back, my master!”

"Eh, well..."

Austin froze for a second. It was strange to be treated in such a respectful way.

"Raise yourselves up from the ground, you guys.”

Immediately, everyone followed Austin's order and stood up in sync, their heads lowered humbly. Although they were sincere and obedient to Austin's every command, they were also curious about this new master in front of them.

Some scrupulous female servants were already starting to observe Austin's behavior and try to figure out his character and preference. "Everyone please gather in the main hall. I have a few things to say.” After thinking for a while, Austin gave out his first instruction.

"Violet, come with me."

At the same time, he ordered Violet inside his mind.

With a flash of green fog, Violet appeared right next to Austin out of the blue. With her, the gnome also appeared with a bored look on its face. It squeaked at Austin while waving its fists and kicking its legs. It seemed to be complaining that Austin had left it inside the Space Ring for such a long time which had bored it.

This mysterious creature had a lively and willful nature. After it made sure Austin had registered its complaint, it quickly dashed off and soon disappeared in the distance.

Austin shook his head in resignation. The gnome had a very fast speed and was easily able to compete against Austin. Also, it was extremely intelligent and therefore, there were very few cultivators indeed who could hurt it.
