Chapter 12 Offended Wimbels Brand

The young staff immediately wore a panicked and shocked expression.

“What? They want to fire her?”

“Mr. Xavier, you can’t fire meIt was them who…”

After weighing his options, Mr. Xavier impatiently waved his hand. “Jane, you can leave.”

The young staff was struck by lightning. “But I haven’t received my salary yet.”

“You’ve only worked for a week and want your salary? Stop talking nonsense and leave quickly!”

After firing the young staff, Yanice proudly glanced at Christine as if she had won. The latter met her gaze with a cold stare, her eyes flashing with a subtle chill.

“Alright, Mr. Xavier. I want to customize a set of the Wimbels‘ Starry Sky Collection from the Wimbels Brand. I saw it on your website before.” She smirked, holding a golden card between her fingers, and handed it over. “Full payment upfront.”

“Mr. Xavier, I’ll also order a set of the Galaxy Collection.” Melissa raised her lips gracefully and handed. over the card. “Full payment as well.”

“Okay, okay. I’ll deliver them to your residence in a week.”

The manager could not stop smiling, leaving the young staff behind, tugging at his suit, pleading, “Mr. Xavier, please give me another chance… I will do better! I was wrong. I won’t speak out of turn again…”

He had no time to deal with her. After swiping the cards of the two big spenders, he quickly returned to the store to report the sales performance. It was almost the end of the month, and he could expect his bonus now!

The staff hugged her legs and sobbed softly.

“Don’t blame us. Blame yourself for getting involved with her. You deserve it,” Yanice uttered those words in arrogance, then intimately linked arms with Melissa, happily walking away.

“It’s all my fault. I’m useless. I even managed to lose the job I finally found.”

As Christine approached, she overheard the store clerk wiping her tears and speaking to herself in a voice full of grievances. “Get up.”

The staff froze, her teary eyes filled with confusion.

A minute later, to the astonishment of the staff, Christine casually made a phone call. The head office manager arrived promptly and stood respectfully by her side. She touched her earlobe. “The situation is more or less like this. Resolve it.”

After listening to the full story, the head office manager’s face turned pale with fright. “I’ll handle it immediately. Rest assured that we will permanently blacklist those two customers. We won’t sell any of our Wimbels products to them, whether on the official website or in our physical stores.”

“Okay. Christine’s lips curved into a smile as she left.

The head office manager handed a tissue to the staff, patting her shoulder approvingly. “You’re not getting fired. You did well.”

The staff was taken aback, sniffling.

In the meantime, Mr. Xavier walked out confidently and saw the head office manager at the entrance. He looked excited. “Sir! Welcome! It’s an honor to have you here so soon for an inspection… I was about to report the sales performance to you!”

Mr. Xavier, you’ve been fired!”

“What?” But he had not received his salary yet!

In a luxurious Bentley SUV with opulent interiors.

As soon as Yanice got into the car, she received a phone call from the head office manager of the Wimbels Brand. She turned to Melissa, flaunting. “The Wimbels Brand provides such intricate service. They must be calling to inquire about the specific details of my customization and offer me a free upgrade to their VIP status.”

“I have to admit; their customer service is impressive. Their reputation has been good in recent years. Take the call.”

“Is this Miss Yanice? Hello, I’m the regional head office manager of the Wimbels Brand in the commercial district of Pierce Mall.”

“Yes, this is me.” Her face beamed with pride as she smirked. “Mr. Xavier is so enthusiastic, even bothering the head office manager to call me personally.”

“May I ask if Miss Lange, the one shopping with you at the store earlier, was still with you?”

“She’s here.” Yanice turned her head and glanced at Melissa, looking puzzled.

“Okay, please put it on speakerphone to ensure the person next to you can hear too.”

In a state of confusion, Yanice followed the instructions and pressed the speakerphone button.

“Well, the thing is, we won’t be accepting the custom orders for the Starry Sky and Galaxy Collections dresses that you and Miss Lange have purchased. The payment from your cards has already been refunded. Please check to see if you’ve received it.”

Yanice opened her mouth in disbelief. “What…”

“Did you receive it?”

“I did receive it, but-”

“Miss Yanice, is my explanation not clear enough? Let me repeat it again-”

“Wait a moment, what do you mean by not accepting our orders? Your store is in Pierce Mall!”

Melissa also furrowed her brows in confusion, a sense of unease creeping into her heart..

There’s no reason for it. Wimbels Brand refuses to sell to the two of you. If Mr. Sidney Pierce, the president of Pierce Corporation, has any objections, please have him come and talk to us personally

The ladies were exasperated by the news.

Tut… Tut….

Yanice helplessly put down her phone, her expression a mix of shock and urgency. What is going on?

Melissa wore an incredulous expression. “Yanice, has Wimbels Brand blacklisted us?”

“This is terrible. Sid values their collaboration with Wimbels Group. He specifically negotiated this deal to have the Wimbels Brand open a store in the mall. If he finds out about this, he’ll kill me. How did we offend the Wimbels Brand?”
