As Matilda was drinking her alcohol, Sophia kept the conversation brief. She transferred some money and requested Matilda to show gratitude to the people who had assisted them.

After finishing, she slowly packed up her things. While she tidied up the clothes she had worn the previous day, a diamond cufflink slipped out. She paused for a moment before reaching out to pick it up.
