I walked out of the glass study room leaving her behind with her thoughts.I was distracted by my own thoughts and had a goal that I could succeed in after having a discussion with her androids. I knew from the beginning that I could not trust the one in the middle. It made me respond to it as if it was a human and to the blind eye one would believe that I was speaking with someone with a high status.

I disliked the feeling I got each time I finished speaking with that android. It left me with a regret for allowing it to speak to me in that manner. How would I address the android without having my neck bruised again I wondered. I turned my phone off and headed for the entry leading out of the university. My lie was not completely fabricated, it was true I would be meeting someone. Someone that only got a warning after endangering my safety and assaulting John.

I felt excitement that I would be meeting them without Jessica. It could be the chance I needed to prove to my father that I would bring him back his honor and reputation that became destroyed when his work was presented to the university. It was not revealed to the world afraid it would bring attention that was deemed unnecessary and a danger. But I was glad that I was given enough time to prove to the world that my hard working father's intelligence was not surpassed by a small student with no resources or wealth.

I saw life and the light vanish in my father's eyes as he tried to look strong in front of me when all of his colleagues were celebrating her work. A man is not supposed to break down in front of another, especially in front of his son. I learned that from my father's behavior. He never shed a tear in front of me but that day I saw one glistening in his eyes.

It stung when I could not support him through this difficult chapter of his life and worried he would not see himself as a man anymore. Everybody knows what a man commits when he does not see himself as one. I would not put the blame on her but on my own for knowing he would vanish himself from this earth on his own terms because of his failed work.

I was aware of this dangerous mindset that is infected through men but I could not change the mindset of a gender nor could I embrace the flaws I have learned from a young age. All I could do was to be a shoulder to support one another. It was one of the many reasons why I was walking towards the androids who were now standing in the small park close to the forest. The park was only a distance away from the university. I was glad that I did not have to be seen by her; there was no possibility that she would find us.

I looked around my surroundings more than a few times before I walked over to the androids who waited for me. When I arrived at them I made sure there was a distance between us. I did not want to be picked up again and this time have my neck more than just bruised. It would be broken I was sure of by the tension that lingered between us. I refused to speak at first worried that the androids would have lured me into here and she would be close by confronting me that this was all planned out in order to see if I was more than just real. Real in honesty and the sincerity I have given to her.

I ignored the loud pulse that grew louder in my ears. I was more than afraid when I stood in front of them in the middle of night with no one witnessing if something would have happened to me. Through the strong need to flee and desperately to live I knew deep inside that it was not more important than rebuilding my fathers honor and mine.

If I did not then there would be no time before I would be standing there mourning the loss of my father. Before I could muster bravery my words were cut off by the loud voice coming from the android in the middle.

‘’ Time is not ours before she comes. There are Coordinates spread out in the forest. if you find them I will pave a way for your future.’’ Said the android named Bortums with a promising voice.

It was not unusual that the android Bortums did not spare me time to think before I could answer. It was not an option nor could I refuse it when I stood there openly betraying their creator. Things could not go back as it was and finding coordinates in the forest relieved the horrible things I worried the android would force me to in order to get what I want.

‘’ How will I find the coordinates? I did not bring anything with me.’’ I said with a worry in my voice and almost regretted it when I noticed I would not be able to succeed.

I wonder why I was not informed to bring something with me but then remembered there was no given chance for us to speak further without notifying Jessica. Was I supposed to go back to my dorm and find something? I wondered but I could not take the risk to walk right into her and be bombarded with questions on my arrival that soon.

I took the silence as an answer to head for the university but before I could take another step or turn towards it my hands went for my ears when I heard a loud ripping sound coming from the android Bortums. I stared at the android who was now handing me his arm detached from his shoulder with a simple tug and a yank. Without thinking I reached for his detached arm and held it with shaky hands and a worried expression.

I was worried that I would have my limbs detached the same way he was. What would I even say to it without being seen as a coward that was scared senseless my mind panicked on. I tried to say something but it only came out as unrecognizable words.

‘’ The radar in my arm is the only object on this planet that can detect those coordinates. You have less than a hour.’’ Said the android Bortums with simple words and almost what sounded like pain in his voice.

It must have been the shock that made me think for a moment I could hear pain in his voice. It would not make sense since he was an android made from metal. I did not waste any more time and ran to the forest with the detached metal arm firm in my grip.

I ran until I could not see them anymore and did not stop running until I was deep in the forest surrounded by large trees.I stood there more afraid than I was before and tried to catch my breath. I realized I did not wait for the instructions on how to use his radar and became more frustrated when I was not able to turn back.

I had to figure this out on my own. It would not be that complicated since I had the knowledge of what the inside of an android’s arm looks like. Thanks to the open split in the android's arm I was able to dig my fingers in it avoiding any sharp things and when a smooth screen collided with my cold fingers I smiled until it reached my eyes.

I did not need to look at how much time had passed knowing they would find me when the time I was given had reached its limit. I could not turn my phone on, worried that my location would be given. I looked at my surroundings and had to choose between the small curved path that leads deeper into the forest or the path that was in a straight line with smaller trees in front of it.

If I was correct the straight path would lead to a larger opening such as a hill the one the androids were found close by. But I did not believe that the androids would plant the coordinates close to the pit left by the meteor, a fine detail I had read in the principal Owen’s old computer. After all I was his password being his golden student before the arrival of Jessica.

I still get chills whenever I think about my full name being used as his password. It was difficult looking at him when I knew what password he uses. A benefit that helped me in this case and gave me the opportunity to choose the small curved path. I ran until I could feel my liver giving out. When I could not see the entry out of this thick forest anymore I tapped on the screen of his radar and saw a beautiful shade of dark green projector laid out for me with several coordinates in the forest but they all were out of reach and far to come close to.

Worried, I walked closer to the projector and read every detail in the projector. None of it made any sense. The android Bortums clearly said coordinates were in the forest but the one in the projector was laid at the edge of the forest where the road was close by. I would not make it in time. I had used almost all of the time running deeper into the forest because of the gut feeling I had. Frustrerad I threw my head back and became distracted by the stars in the sky. It soothed me and I noticed how strong the light coming from the projector was.

It was like a beacon giving out my location in the deep forest. I was about to sit down and wait for the androids to find me since I could not make it out of this forest on my own. I still had a group project that could benefit me in order to help my father out. I was in a squat-like position before I suddenly froze by fear when I heard a loud noise coming from branches being snapped close to me.

It came from behind me and I calculated in my head what could be behind the trees depending on the heavy footsteps that snapped the branches. It could not be a deer, perhaps a large bear? I wondered and still did not like the idea of a bear attacking me when I was this deep into the forest. I did what everybody else was supposed to do in a situation like this and slowly rose from my squat-like position and stood completely still waiting for the bear to walk where it was heading and not become interested in me.

I made no noises afraid the bear would decide to look after me if I was to make an interesting or loud sound. The sounds coming from behind me only became louder and I did not let go of the radar I was holding onto with my back towards the danger. I looked at the projector in front of me searching for any clue that could help me in this situation.

But when the description of coordinations changed in front of my eyes into a clear what seemed like a manual of Talus. I immediately turned around terrified why the android Talus was behind my heart rate reaching the sky. I did not try to speak to the android knowing it was silent compared to Bortums. I stared at the screen in the radar on the arm I was holding as I waited for another what seemed like a manual of the other two androids coming towards us but there was no sign of them in the radar or any sounds behind Talus.

We stood there staring at each other waiting for one us to speak but suddenly the android Talus looked behind him at the projector the radar was casting and the moment the android turned it’s gaze back to me it acted different and become more relaxed by how its arm stood completely still and his feets parted slightly to the side. I was familiar with that stance knowing it meant that the android was waiting for me to do something and when it hit me that the android was waiting for me to run.

I ran with all the adrenaline my body could muster and pushed my body to its limit running faster than I have ever before. I threw the android Bortums’s arm long ago worried it would tell where my location was. I felt the branches on the tree scratching me but it would not compare to the pain I would feel if that android was supposed to catch up with me.

I was one step ahead of the android because of the heavy footsteps it had each time it came close to me taunting me that it would catch up with me as it slowed down its pace and then picked it up. I felt nothing more than like a defenseless animal running away from its predator. Unable to get away from it.

Tears pricked in my eyes as I ran and felt the burning sensation in my legs warning me that I was close to my body’s limit. My throat was burned by the cold air in my lungs. Another burning sensation came from my lower body in my liver forcing me to stop running.I had reached my limit and stood there forced to wait for the predator to catch up with me surrounded by large trees and my phone long gone lost.

I stood there alerted, listening to every sound and my eyes flickering to the sides waiting and hoping that I would make it back to my dorm and bed laughing off this encounter. I felt how my shirt became soaked from all the fear and sweat. It was odd how I was cold and warm at the same time. Suddenly a loud noise came from the trees and I heard a branch snap with so much force that made me stand in position with my fist held high to my face.

I will make this out alive was all on my mind as I stood there hoping the android would want to fight me. But when I saw silver metal legs high in the pitch black sky I realized the weight of the branch was because of the android leaping towards me. I raised my arms high shielding myself from the impact I would feel. But a burning sensation erupted on my arms as I watched my flesh disappear and the bones in my arms became visible.

I stared in horror at the android for what felt like an hour long moment but the burning sensation grew to my face and down to my body engulfing me in a second.Gone was I by a dark blue flame erasing me from this world's existence quicker before I could call out to the living hoping they would hear me.
