Lucian pointed to himself.

“You mean me?… Are you talking to me? Asking your alpha to leave just so that you can be alone with Aiden? My beta?” He resounded what he thought he had heard.

Lyra nodded her head twice. “Yes, that is exactly what I just asked for” she said to him. Lucian could nit believe what he was seeing and hearing. He advanced to his bride as he clenched his fist.

“Aiden, leave us!” He shouted. His instructions sent an instant shock to Aiden as he bowed and walked through the door. Aiden closed the door behind him slowly. He didn’t close it fully, he left a little space between the door and it’s frame, just so he could hear what was going on.
