Chapter 20: First Day of Magix Academy

It was now Monday, the day that Eliza craved for and the day that Sophia dreaded the most in all of her sixteen years of existence, Eliza’s first day at Magix Academy. Eliza had already woken up, brushed her teeth, and took a lavender and cherry scented bubble bath.

*Eliza’s P.o.v*

I really wanted to make a first good impression as future queen, and as soon-to-be crowned princess, but at the same time I want to be myself, and express my artistic style. I know! I’ll wear teal blue, knee high dress that has golden, sparkly flowers, some gold heels that have white bows on each buckle, a black diamond belt, and my hair down and wavy with a blue diamond butterfly hair clip on the left side for the finishing touch. For my makeup, I went with some natural pink lipstick, light blush, and some black mascara. When I was done, I grabbed my purse and book bag before heading to the dinning table for breakfast.

*Sophia’s P.o.v*

As much as I hate to be even in the same school as Eliza, I’m not going to let her take away my title of Miss Popularity. After I took a blue raspberry bubble bath, I changed into a white, v neck skater dress that had thin straps, some blood red colored heels, and a blood red leather jacket with my hair in a curly ponytail. After a few moments of admiring my perfect make, which consisted of: cherry red eye-shadow, black mascara, orange blush, and light pink lipstick, I grabbed my book bag and purse before going to the dinning table for breakfast.

When the two sisters arrived at the dinning table, their parents were already engaged in eating and chatting with each other as well as the servants that came by. Eliza sat next to her mom on her right while Sophia sat next to their dad, who was sitting across from their mom, on his left.

“You’re sitting in seat.” Exclaimed Sophia.

“I am?” Asked Eliza, confused.

“Yes! I ALWAYS sit next to mom at the dinning table.” Exclaimed Sophia while emphasizing the always.

“Sweetie, it really doesn’t matter, and technically it’s Eliza’s seat. See it has her name is engraved it.” Said their dad as they showed Sophia Eliza’s name in gold cursive written at the side of the black and white chair. This made Sophia even more angry that Eliza had HER OWN chair. The chair that her herself had been sitting in for the last sixteen years of her life. So, stubbornly, Sophia had sat down next to her dad and started eating her blueberry pancakes and drinking her orange juice. After a while, they heard a beeping sound coming from outside.

“Looks like the limo carriage is here . Bye girls, and Eliza, have a great first day.” Said their mom before the girls said their goodbyes and left the castle. Outside was a black and red limo carriage waiting for them and had a drivers plate that said: ROYALS 4 LIFE. The girls got in and were soon driving to Magic Academy. When they arrived, there was a big crystal building, in the middle was a crystallized dragon fountain that had amethyst eyes.

“Wow, this place is gorgeous.“Said Eliza while getting out and seeing a lot of teen around the campus.

“Well duh, what’d you expect? A rundown warehouse that nobody lives in and is very unfriendly to the environment?” Asked Sophia.

“No.” Said Eliza. Then, the girls walked to the front doors and as they did there were a few shout outs to them.

“Hey Sophia!” Shouted one person.

“Come to my party!?” Shouted another and so on.

“You’re really popular around here.” Said Eliza.

“Don’t state the obvious.” Said Sophia. Then, out of nowhere came Evie as she tackled Eliza to the ground.

“Ow! What the heck!” Exclaimed Eliza from the rough impact that Evie had caused.

“Sorry, I’m just excited to show you around, that’s all.” Said Evie.

“And you couldn’t have done it in a much safer, mot painful way?” Asked Eliza while rolling her eyes and getting up to dust herself off.

“So, you mean I can finally ditch this loser?” Asked Sophia.

“Go do whatever it is you do, Sophia.” Said Evie then soon Sophia started walking away.

“And by that she’s most likely to go find her boyfriend and make out in the janitor’s closet for thirty minutes tops.” Said Evie as she guides Eliza to her locker, which had been personally customized upon hearing of her arrival, into a teal blue that had silver and gold sparkles, black snowflakes, and a capital e made of diamonds with a silver crown on top.

“Wow, it’s, it’s incredibly beautiful.” She said.

“Really? Because guess who did it?” Asked Evie while smiling cheekily.

“Who?” She asked.

“Me! Your first class as well as all of them except for Identification of Potions and Spells, Science, and Magical Pet Care are with me. Your first class of the day would be Potionology, let’s go.” Said Evie. Eliza gave her a ‘really’ look as if saying she couldn’t go anywhere without unpacking and putting her stuff in her new locker.

“Oh, right. Take your time.” Said Evie then, Eliza placed everything into her locker before leaving to go to room 408 with Evie alongside her. When they got there, they sat in the middle where Danielle, Fraya, and Layla were at.

“Hey, guys.” Said Evie.

“Hey, mate.” Said Layla.

“Eliza will be going to school here with the rest of us. And she’s the...” Said Evie, But was interrupted by when the teacher, Ms. Webs, started to speak.

“Class, we have a new student today, and I’d like her to come up and tell us about herself. If her majesty will come up to the front of the classroom, please.” Said Ms. Webs. Eliza came up to the front of the classroom and curtsied before introducing herself.

“Hi, I’m Elizabeth, but most people call me Eliza. I’m the long, lost princess of Tynix, and heir to the throne since I’m the oldest. I like chocolate, my favorite color is blue, any blue, and I like to sing.” She said.

“Any questions for Princess Elizabeth?” Asked Ms. Webs, and then suddenly a lot of hand came up.

“Do you have powers?” Asked one student.

“Yes, I have both the powers of fire and ice like my parents.” Answered Eliza.

“Where were you all these years?” Asked another student. That question had hit a nerve, and brought bad memories, but nobody seemed to notice the quick shift in movement that Eliza had made or even the slight drop in the room temperature.

“Umm... I was home-schooled on Earth, where I was adopted and became a famous singer and had other She said.

“Have you been used to your powers? And how often do you use them?” Asked one more person.

“I’ve been pretty used to them with help from my friends. And I don’t use them that often.” She answered.

“Alright,that’s enough questions for our princess. Thank you, your majesty, you may have a seat.” Said Ms. Webs as Eliza took her seat again.

“Now, let’s begin class. Today, we’ll be making flight, invisibility, and growth potions. Let’s begin.” Said Ms. Webs. After class, the rest of the day went on the same for Eliza, and as the day had gone by she had felt really at home and at peace. Later, after the limo carriage came t get her and Sophia, the driver spoke up as he opened the door for her and Sophia.

“How was your day, Princess Sophia?” He asked.

“Okay.” Said Sophia in a dull tone only to receive a sigh from him in response, before turning his attention towards Eliza.

“What about you, Princess Elizabeth? How was your first day?” He asked.

“It was amazing!” She Exclaimed while smiling.

“I’m glad to hear that.” He said as he pulled the limo up by the palace gates.

“Thank you.” She said as she and Sophia both got out of the car and went inside.

“Eliza, Sophia, how was your day?” Asked their mother.

“It was amazing, I learned so much about my powers, like for both fire and ice I get a companion. And like how I’m strongest in both the Winter and Summer time. I’m really good with wands and swords, and so far Potionology is my favorite class!” She Exclaimed.

“That’s fangtastic, dear. I’m glad to see that your first day of a new school was amazing. Now, go get changed and lunch will be served soon.” Said their father.

“Okay.” She said and then went upstairs to her bedroom.

“Now, what about you, Sophia? What did you today?” Asked their mother.

“I fucked my boyfriend in the janitor’s closet today.” Said Sophia with a devilish look n her eyes. This only made both the king and queen sigh.

“We meant in school.” Said their father.

“Oh, nothing. I ditched and went shopping!” Exclaimed Sophia. And so with a look of disapproval and disappointment on both parents’ face, they told her to go get changed, and ready for lunch. Rolling her eyes, Sophia did as she was told and went to her room in annoyance.

*Sophia’s P.o.v*

When I got to my room door, I saw a black and red box that had a note attached to it, so I took it, and entered my room, later locking the the door. It made me wonder who could’ve sent it, so I looked at the note and it said:

Dear Princess Sophia,

You are a ravishing ruby in my cave of eternal darkness. I found this and thought ′ how pretty would this look on a princess of such stunning beauty?′ This necklace is magical, all you have to say are these words: Vanr£ Monairo Depollo.

From: Your Secret Admirer.

“Oh! I have a secret person who likes me!?” I thought while opening the box and gasped. The necklace inside was a black and red peacock with silver outlining. I said the words that were written on the note, and I soon felt a surge of magic flowing through me. This is going to be wicked and I can’t wait.

Sophia didn’t realize that the spell she said was a control spell. A control spell that Greymore used to control her, but not completely. She’ll still have her own emotions and such, but if she were refuse a command from Greymore then, he can just gain back that control using the spell. What will happen next in the lives of our two princess sisters? Is the End or The beginning?......
