Staci POV

I felt like I was floating on a cloud, or was I? Am I dreaming? I slowly opened my eyes, looked up, and saw I was in Antonio's arms as he carried me. I looked up at him. He looked down at me and gave me that pantie-dropping smile.

Staci POV

I couldn't believe Monica; she put me on the spot in front of the pack. I wanted to strangle her; I heard Solaris let out a snort in my head and puff out her chest, happy to be marked by our mate.

"Welcome, Luna Staci," I watched as everyone bowed their heads and smiled with pride at the fact that this pack willingly accepted me.

After breakfast, Antonio and I went to his office to learn a few things about the pack and discuss when I wanted to plan my Luna ceremony with his Mother.

So, I've learned that the pack gets its wealth from banks and construction companies, as my mate owns quite a few. Antonio usually works from home, but he goes into the office a few days a week for meetings and, as he puts it, to discuss expansion plans, which is a good idea on his part; that way, he can employ more people.

Carter, already his second in command, develops the software; I've learned Carter is good with computers, so he keeps the bugs and hackers out of the system for the companies.

Juliano is a tech designer who excels at spotting locations and creating model-building designs for potential clients.

After talking and learning about the types of jobs each pack member is assigned and the companies we own, there was a knock at the door.

"Alright, that works. Maybe a simple light dinner with a seafood paella, a classic Caesar salad, and some butter croissants or garlic bread?" Evelyn asked as my mouth watered with her food ideas.

"Great! Okay. Antonio genuinely likes Jazz and R&B music, but this is your Luna ceremony," Evelyn mentions Antonio's taste in music as I smile.

"Let's go with that style of music," I say as Evelyn smiles and jots things down on her notepad.

"Okay, the date. So shall we say in a week during the full moon?" She asked me.

"That's perfect!" I shout and quickly cover my mouth as Evelyn laughs.

"I love her. She's perfect for you, my Filho (Son)," Evelyn says, winking at Antonio.

"Would you mind if I used a laptop? I need to check in with my classes and have my diploma mailed to the pack when it's due to arrive," I say as Evelyn smiles at me.

"Now that you mentioned a laptop. I had my dear Filho (Son) Antonio buy one for when he brought home his Luna, which is you, dear," Evelyn said and looked at Antonio.

I looked at Antonio as he smiled, bent down, and pulled open the bottom drawer. Antonio pulled out a brand-new Apple MacBook Air. I gasped and looked into his eyes. He smiled and placed the box on his desk.

"This is...Wow, this is too much," I said as my eyes glistened with tears.

"Nothing is ever too much for my Luna," Antonio's deep, husky voice filled my ears as my hands touched the box.

I turned my head and passionately kissed my mate to thank him for my new laptop since my old one was on its last leg. I had meant to get a new laptop for months but always held off because my old one still functioned for a while.

"Thank you!" I squeal and start opening the box to set up the laptop.

As the laptop boots up and makes the noise of turning on, Evelyn excuses herself and tells me she has everything she needs to prepare for the Luna ceremony. I smile and wave at her.

"By the way, that new mate mark suits you, my dear," I heard her say before she exited the office.

I looked over and saw my mate smiling, and I blushed at him.

I wait for the laptop to finish its process before I set up my account, log in to my school's directory, and message my professors about the recent changes.

"Thank goddess, it's a werewolf high school," I think as I type, and Solaris hums.

Antonio POV

After my Mother mentioned Staci's mark and left my office, I saw the corners of her mouth lift into a tiny smile. It made me happy that my mate was adjusting well in the pack.

"So, my love, I have a few things to catch up on. Did you want to stay and finish your school stuff?" I asked Staci as she typed on her laptop.

"If that's okay with you, and besides, my seat is quite comfortable," Staci giggles and wiggles her hips, making my cock stir as I growl, and she blushes.

Staci happily stays rooted to her spot on my lap as she works, and I catch up on the paperwork that Carter and I missed yesterday because of Staci's birthday party and the challenge.

"When is graduation?" I asked Staci.

"Yes!" Staci shouts.

"What is it?" I ask and look over her shoulder.

"I aced every class! I'm going to be valedictorian!" Staci squeals delightfully as I smile and kiss her cheek.

"I'm proud of you," I said as Staci turned to look at me and gently kissed my lips as Ares purred.

"I have to call my parents and tell Monica," Staci says as I chuckle.

"Last I checked, she was in the Beta's office with Carter," I say, wiggling my eyebrows as Staci blushes.

"You can use the office phone and call your parents, my love," I say as Staci squeals and picks up the phone to dial her parents.

Staci talked to her parents and told them about her grades and being valedictorian. She also got to tell her brother Seth the excellent news, and I heard the cheers with my Alpha hearing.

"I will have to talk to Antonio about a graduation party," I heard Staci say as she looked over her shoulder at me.

"Let her have one," Ares yaps his agreement.

"That's fine with me," I tell Staci as she smiles and tells her parents and brother about the party.

After Staci got off the phone with her family, we discussed the details of her and Monica's graduation party. I sent a quick link to my Mother, telling her the excellent news. My Mother said it was a fantastic idea to have a little gathering for the girls to celebrate their success.

Once everything was settled and I finally got to talk to Carter about the graduation ceremony and party, Staci and I returned to work. Staci helped me organize the pack stuff and gave some general ideas on changing things around. I liked her ideas and decided to voice them to Carter and Juliano later.

Staci and I worked until it was time to head to dinner; I shut off my laptop while she saved her work files and school stuff on her laptop.

I exited my chair after Staci stood up, stretched my stiff limbs, and rolled my neck. I looked out my office window as some pack members arrived home from their nine-to-five jobs and smiled. I had the strangest feeling that I was being watched.

"Antonio? Are you okay?" I heard Staci call out.

I shook off the feeling and turned to look at my beautiful mate.

"I'm fine, my love. Let's go see what's for dinner," I said.

I turned off my desktop and the office lights as Staci led the way to the elevator to join our friends and see what was prepared for dinner tonight.
