Meanwhile in a different world, Syrhahn, a retired assassin, is embarking on a mission to save his son from unknown captors who simply vanished into thin air. Their lives become tangled as they discover a multiverse of allies and enemies, and of portals and powers. They must fight to save themselves, their loved ones and ultimately the multiverse in this fast moving plot driven story of heroes and villains.
