Lisa remembered something and smirked.

“What’s with that weird smile?” Leonard shifted his gaze.

After opening the lid of her porridge, she opened the same game on her phone and handed it over. “That’s my account. I’ve been playing for a year and a half without spending a dime. It’s great because it shows I successfully didn’t let a capitalist like you profit one bit from me.”

Leonard was utterly speechless. He suddenly chuckled as he swept his gaze over Lisa’s fox-like expression. “I’m starting to realize what a good wife you

are.”

Lisa, who had just sipped her porridge, choked on it.

“Cough, cough.” Her face reddened from coughing so much.

“Isn’t it true?” Leonard chuckled lightly. “Most women from prominent families are extravagant spenders. My sister-in-law spends tens of thousands every month. Just look at you-so frugal and good at managing money.

“I bet you can save me billions. How many women can bring such enormous profits to their husbands in a lifetime?”

Lisa raised an eyebrow. “You’re overthinking it. If we don’t get divorced, I’d be a big spender. Don’t expect me to save you billions. I’d probably spend hundreds of thousands of your money too.”

She was joking, of course.

‘I used to refrain from spending because I didn’t have much in the first place. Who likes being frugal?’

“Do you honestly want to divorce me so badly?” Leonard’s gaze turned cold, and his tone became slightly chilly.

“Isn’t that what you wanted too?” Lisa was puzzled. He was just as eager as her to get a divorce.

“We never had any conflicts. I ended things with Steph after marrying you,” Leonard said coldly, “Even if our marriage lacks affection, I can’t be married and date someone else simultaneously.”

Lisa listened with a puzzled expression. “Ha, I’d believe you if I hadn’t seen you two being so affectionate during the meal.”

“When did we show affection over a meal?”

“That day at Villagio Center. You were sitting so close to each other. She kept peeling shrimp for you, and you ate them all. ” Lisa did not mind jogging his memory. “Don’t tell me that’s just a regular meal between a man and a woman.”
