KATHERINE:

I woke up to so much pain around my vagina. In fact, I couldn’t tell the exact place I was feeling the pain because it was everywhere. The sudden reminder that I had given birth crossed my mind and I began to sob.

I tried to free myself, but found out that I had been chained to the walls and I couldn’t move an inch. The only thing I could do was to cry and cry my eyes out because I lost everything all in one night. I was innocent, but no one would believe me, not even Zane who claimed to love me with all his heart.

I hated everything… Hated my life…. Hated the moon goddess, hated who I was.

As I continued to sob aloud thinking whether my children would have been dead or not, my heart thumped so hard when I heard Jane’s voice.

I sniffled, clutching iny fingers so tight and sinking my claws so deep into my flesh without feeling an ounce of pain as I spoke,

“I’m never going to let you get away with this, I swear, I won’t. If ever leave here alive, I’ll destroy you, I’ll make you suffer ten times what I had to pass through, and I’ll make you suffer more for hurting my children.”

I watched her laugh aloud again, and then she began to walk away. As the doors were being shut, I looked away, letting my tears roll freely down my eyes. The moon goddess abandoned me, and even my innocent children had to suffer from all of this misery. My head fell back on the stone that I had to use as a pillow, and I shut my eyes, waiting patiently for when death would come because right now, I had absolutely no reason to live anymore.

3 Days Later.

ZANE:

I strode down the hallway, greeting every member of the pack that had come to pay respect to my father who was the late Alpha. It was also tradition that I be crowned as Alpha the same day my father was laid to rest.

Jane was by my side, and we were walking together. I had made the decision to take Jane as my future Luna and I was going to make that announcement today. I had this feeling it was the best decision I had made in all my life, having Jane by my side as my Luna and mate. Since Katherine was sentenced into the dungeon. I had not stepped foot there to see her filthy face. I didn’t want to see her, neither did I want to hear anything from her or about her.

“What’s wrong?” I questioned him, getting angry at the interruption because the event was about to start.

“The Lycan King, he’s here.” He uttered.

I arched my brows in surprise, asking myself if I had heard him wrong the first time, “What?”

“Lycan King Leo is here!” He replied for a second time, and I immediately let go of Jane’s hands, hurrying outside to see for myself if it was true or not. It had to be, it had to be f*cking true please.
