Syl and Seb approached Southan in their airship. To protect from the darkness outside, Sanctuary Labs had outfitted special dark matter tech armour to the airship, and dark matter tech envirosuits were placed aboard the ship to protect the two from the darkness.

The airship touched down and the two headed outside.

"So uh... what now?" Seb asked. "Don't you gotta do your magic Crystalla thing?" He shrugged.

"I don't know how... I've never done it before" Syl shrugged with a smile.

"How do you always drag me into these things?" Seb chuckled as he looked around.

"Hey, it was Roisin's idea" Syl smiled. The old town that once stood in the area was half sunken into the ground. "Trust her to pick Rosefall" He sighed, with a half smile.

"Yeah, not a great holiday destination any more" Seb nodded as he looked up and down the broken street. "Guess I missed a lot, huh?" He sighed. Syl patted him on the shoulder and smiled.

"It's just good to have you back" Syl smiled. As Syl's hand touched Seb's shoulder, it triggered the Crystalla he had contained in his soul. The shock sent Syl to his knees as he began to glow bright, illuminating the whole valley in a blinding light before it faded.

"Hey man, what the hell?!" Seb asked, with his hand over his eyes. Syl got to his feet, holding his head.

"That hurt like hell..." Syl groaned, he looked to the side of him to see a girl around his age, he didn't recognise her for a moment.

"Elyss?" Syl asked quietly. "How are you here?" He asked.

"Syl... where are we?" Elyss asked, as the darkness cleared, revealing the ruined landscape that surrounded them.

"But... I saw you die, how are you here?" Syl asked confused.

"Uh..." Seb interrupted before motioning to himself.

"Oh... you're the Crystalla?" Syl asked, as he turned to Elyss.

"Did you just call me a planet?" Elyss smirked, as she placed her hands on her hips. "I do feel bigger some how, all being said" She shrugged.

"Yeah, you look my age" Syl pondered.

"Well of course I'm your age" Elyss shrugged.

"Uh... right" Syl nodded. "Nine years ago, Una Academy fell nine years ago" He explained. "You died there..." Syl frowned.

"Wait, it's been nearly a decade?!" Elyss asked, as she turned her gaze to the ruined town.

"Yeah, a lot has happened" Syl sighed. "I tried to save you, Elyss, I'm so sorry" He sighed. Elyss grabbed Syl's hand and smiled, as she looked deep into his eyes.

"Don't worry Syl" She smiled as she kissed him on the lips.

"Oh... so you two were..." Seb mumbled. "Excuse me, I'm going to check out the, uh... bakery" He said as he excused himself.

"So... what's going on?" Elyss asked, as she looked at the town. "This is Southan..." She frowned.

"Basically, end of the world scenario" Syl shrugged. "And you are one of the keys needed to save this star, no, reality itself" He tried to explain.

"Oh, so just your basic Sunday afternoon then?" Elyss smirked, before sighing. "Is your family okay?" She asked.

"Yeah" Syl nodded as he looked away, and stared at the ocean. Elyss, pulled Syl's hand.

"Syl, what is it?" She asked.

"My sister, Roisin" He frowned, as he held back the tears. "She has to die to save us..." He said, as he burst into tears.

"I... I'm sorry" Elyss frowned as she comforted Syl.

"I'd hope while coming down here I'd come up with an alternative and save her..." Syl sighed. "But all I know how to do is crack jokes and be a big brother... I don't have the first clue how to save her" He sighed, as he leant against a half sunken fence.

"Syl" Eylss smiled, as she turned his head with her hand. "She will be happy to know that you always have her back, and are doing everything possible to save her" She comforted Syl.

"But it's not enough. I'm a failure, you know that more than most" Syl frowned.

"So you failed the exams, big whoop" Elyss shrugged. "The world isn't based around exams. What you do out here is what matters, you brought me back to life. Gave me a second chance. I believe in you" She smiled, as a spark of electricity could be seen in her eyes.

"I can't let her die. I won't..." Syl nodded.

"I'll try my best to assist" Elyss smiled.

"Thank you..." Syl smiled slightly, as he hugged his long lost friend.
