Roisin, Ruby and Dex entered the chamber below Una Academy, where the replaced Earth Crystal was awaiting. Roisin approached the Crystal and sighed. Ruby flew in circles above the large crystal as Dex watched Roisin place her hand on the sleek surface of the Crystal, he frowned.

"Roisin, why won't you tell me what is wrong?" Dex asked. Roisin looked at Dex and frowned.

"Nothing's wrong" She shrugged.

"Ros, I know you more than you know yourself. I know when something is bothering you" Dex shook his head.

"Just leave it" Roisin grunted, as Ruby looked down and frowned.

"No" Dex sighed. "Tell me" He demanded.

"Please, Dex..." Roisin's anger began to turn to sadness.

"I want to know... I want to help, but I can't do that unless you tell me, please, Roisin" Dex said, as he stepped closer to her.

"You can't help, Dex, no one can" Roisin shook her head.

"Ros, I came back from the dead, I'm pretty sure whatever you are scared or sad about is fixable" Dex smiled slightly.

"Good for you" Roisin shot Dex an angry look, that he had never seen before.

"Good for me? I don't understand, please tell me..." Dex sighed.

"I'M GOING TO DIE, OKAY?" Roisin shouted, as her eyes burned a deep red. Dex fell backward in fright, as Roisin's eyes returned to normal. "I'm... going to die" She cried, the energy below flowing from the crystal into her hand.

"From the Crystal?!" Dex panicked as he shot to his feet.

"No..." Roisin shook her head and frowned. "I have to die, for us to beat whatever lurks beyond" She admitted, as Ruby flew down and landed on Dex's shoulder.

"Does it have to be you? I'd give my life if it let you live yours" Dex smiled, as he held Roisin's other hand. Roisin smiled slightly.

"I know you would" She sighed. "But, yes, it has to be me..." Roisin nodded.

"I don't want to lose you..." Dex said quietly, as tears fell from his eyes. "I... this world, it'd be so cold and empty without you, Roisin" He frowned.

"I'm sorry, Dex, I wish there was another way" Roisin shook her head. "I wanted to spare you these feelings, to have this last journey be filled with good memories. But I guess I ruined that..." She sighed.

"You need to tell the others" Ruby nodded. Roisin looked at Ruby and smiled.

"Yeah, I do" Roisin agreed.

"Hiding it from the others, it hurts them more in the long run" Ruby explained. "And when it comes to the time... it would destroy them, if they never knew" She added.

"Ruby's right" Dex nodded, as he fed Ruby a treat. Roisin finished absorbing the Crystal, and smiled. "Let's go help the..." She began, before putting her hands on her head and yelling.

"Roisin?!" Dex panicked, as she fell to her knees and a light engulfed the room.

"The Crystalla!" Ruby gasped. The light momentarily filled the room before dimming once more. Beside the Crystal, someone was slumped over wearing a cloak. They looked up and their eyes widened, Roisin recognized them slightly.

"Who...?" Roisin asked.

"Roisin?! You survived!" A familiar voice asked.

"Wait... you're Seb!" Roisin realized.

"Where am I? What happened? Why's there a bunny boy and a dragon here? Why do I have all my limbs? Why am I resting against a giant crystal? Also why am I naked underneath this robe?" Seb asked, as he stood up.

"That's a lot of questions" Ruby said as she tilted her head. Roisin and Dex giggled.

"You're in the Earth Temple, Treleva killed you, the 'bunny boy' is Dex, the dragon is Ruby, daughter of Arranthian, I don't know why you have all your limbs, or why you are resting there and I most certainly don't know why you are naked" Roisin explained.

"That's a lot of answers" Ruby chuckled. Seb looked at Ruby with wide eyes.

"Your father... he helped me a lot..." Seb bowed his head at Ruby.

"He... he passed away, I think, we're not sure, when he died I was what was left behind, since then Roisin has raised me" Ruby explained.

"Seb" Roisin interrupted. "I have something to gift you, it should awaken your powers" She nodded.

"Awaken my powers?" Seb asked.

"Long story, trust me" Dex shrugged.

"Okay then, awaken away" Seb chuckled. Roisin nodded and walked toward Seb, placing her hand on his chest, and channelling the earth energy into Seb. The process finished instantly and Seb fell back as his eyes glowed an icy blue.

"Did it work?" Ruby asked, as she flew close to Seb.

"I... feel stronger" Seb shrugged.

"I think it worked" Dex nodded, as he helped up.

"We don't have time to waste, the others are holding Treleva at bay, with the three of us, we should be able to take him" Roisin nodded.

"Oh, he's here?" Seb grinned. "Payback time, not just for me, but for General Summers too" He nodded. Roisin and the others ran up the long stairway to confront Infernus.
