I have always believed that we are not just a collection of chemicals and on my relentless journey, into matters beyond the veil; most of my assumptions were corroborated

Faith is constant and never alters. It is the one last egg to crack for the skeptics who have earnestly tried for thousands of years to unsnap the anchor chain from its hitching rail

And why I ask? Is it part of the human instinct to solve every problem and tick it off with a pencil thus allowing the ego to inwardly brag to us how smart we are and once again, pat us on the back?

If that be the case it just demonstrates the arrogant assumption that we can do anything. Which is false because it has undone many people who thought aims could be achieved without any background—just luck. Not hard work. Not study just luck. Faith stays. It made people grit their teeth in agony, rather than lose their inner faith when they stood up against the man made churches and the false Priests, who proclaimed that it was God’s work that they should die a horrible death. And the hypocrites’, the devout Cardinals cuddled their mistresses as the flames licked away the life of the people who spoke only truth.

Prisoners of War from the last Great War returned and were asked by journalists who thrust microphones into the- thin faces how they survived. Those who chose to deal with the intrusive press men usually gave a simple answer.

“Faith. It got me through. I never lost it, through all the pain. What else did we have?” Try and beat that. Try to fathom out why children who are as young as three and who are clinically dead come back from beyond. And without prompting, speak about it. The latest account was recent and received a small version, stuck on page eleven however I picked it up and read it and still have a copy. Which I quote.

Paul Ericka of Lichen aged three, had fallen in a pond and was pronounced dead .He had been there for three hours after his heart stopped beating. And said he had seen his Great- Grandma Emma in heaven it is believed he was in the pond at his grand parents’ house for over several minutes before his grandfather saw him

His father was called in and gave the boy heart massage and mouth to mouth before a helicopter with paramedics flew him to hospital. Doctors at the Hospital tried to resuscitate him for hours. They had given up when three hours and 18minutes after he was brought in, when Paul’s heart started beating. He said he had seen his great grandma Emmi.there was a lot of light and I was floating. I came to a gate and I saw Emma on the other side and she spoke to me. ----

‘What are you doing here Paul? You must go back to mummy and daddy—I will wait for you in heaven – But great grandma said I had to come home.’

I suppose the skeptics would say it is all made up. I could write a lot more about the powerful evidence but I will leave it to the reader to figure it out. We band of brothers and sisters who have had NDEs and which pushed us along a tunnel—yet we came back after six minutes; know better. I’ll just plod along, as we generally do, and leave things to God, yet unsure about a heaven and what is supposed to be .Is it just a repository of energy for eons of time until our planet is green again or we find another one to stuff up in time?

We can hope, as humans do, that it will all turn around. While we occupy the planet .All of us, the climate change skeptics as well would hope for this .Perhaps we have travelled too far in the pursuit of many material things which require much of the earth’s goodies, to stop the rising tides and if it comes to that I opine that many people without any belief will start doing a lot more praying. It has been said that there were no atheists in the foxholes in the Great War. Or on the deck of the Titanic.

Contemplation with walking and talking to God helps me to iron out passages in my writing. So far I have not been shoved into an Ambulance by men in white coats.

In conclusion I expect to be pilloried by the dedicated believers who believe every word in the Bible is dead set true. A bit hard to believe when one considers how many versions were put out. I have no doubt that it is a great book written by many smart people, some however had different agendas.

I might be challenged with the chapters where I give God and his Angels a human face. Though I am told that God loves humour and we have inherited the humour which has been a blessing to humanity during times of strife. Perhaps though, dogmatic people may think I am committing Blasphemy, and they may be right,; but it is with a tongue in the cheek And at the end of the day, it is after all, classified as Spiritual Fantasy which always stretches the band of credibility.
