Magnus shot Kendra a disgusted look. His voice was as cold as ice. “Take her away; lock her in the basement” 

The basement of Sapphire Island was as cold as a tomb and half–filled with water. It was a grim reminder of her causing Nat to fall into the sea. Now, he wanted Kendra to taste the bitterness of seawater.
