Chapter 7: Unwanted Princess

Nancy and Kenny have made a decision to adopt Paul and Jackie’s baby if Jackie remains uninterested in keeping it. Nancy plans to present Paul and Jackie’s baby as a twin sibling to her own baby, who is a girl. Jackie did not want to find out the gender of her baby, but Paul knew it was a girl. Nancy and Kenny have chosen to name their baby Anne, in honor of Nancy’s sister. They have decided to name Jackie and Paul’s baby Jessica, inspired by Nancy’s love for the main character in Murder She Wrote.

Anne, Nancy, and Paul have a cousin named Catherine Brooks, who is very close to Anne. Catherine is currently in high school and is admired by many guys. Unfortunately, Catherine’s parents passed away in a car accident, so she now lives with her grandmother. However, her grandmother has a problem with alcohol consumption. Despite this, Catherine still visits her cousins. Catherine holds a dislike towards Jackie because she is the sister of King Henry, and she disapproves of what King Henry did to Anne. Catherine is pleased to hear that King Henry is being unfaithful to Jane.

Jackie went into labor and once the baby was born, she gave the baby to Nancy and Kenny. At the same time, Nancy also went into labor and everyone believed she had twins. Nancy and Kenny kindly allowed Paul to visit Jessica, who had Jackie’s eyes and red hair. Jessica is an incredibly beautiful child and Nancy and Kenny have a deep love for her. Although Jackie and Paul still have legal rights to Jessica, nobody knew that she was their daughter. People believed that Jackie and Paul’s baby had passed away.

People have been talking about Jessica and Anne’s hair lately. Some find it strange that Jessica has red hair while Anne has blonde hair. On another note, Paul and Jackie’s marriage seems to be going through a rough patch. Paul has been distant towards Jackie and it’s clear that he’s disappointed with her. Jackie is worried that their marriage is coming to an end. However, she’s not giving up just yet. In fact, after she recovers from giving birth, Jackie plans to give Paul another baby in hopes of saving their marriage.

It’s been years since Jessica was born, and now she’s already five years old! She loves to spend her days painting and riding her bike, and she’s always having fun with her family. Jessica is especially close to her mother Nancy, and they do everything together. Her siblings are also great and she loves spending time with them. Jessica is lucky to have a cousin like Elizabeth too, and they are inseparable. She’s already in school, but Nancy is always there to help her with her homework. Jackie and Paul also had a new addition to the family -- a baby boy named Steve who is one year old. Everyone is excited to see what the future holds for this growing family!

Jackie loves her son more than anything in the world. She would do anything to protect him and keep him safe. Paul also loves his son, but he has been spending time with Jessica lately. Even though Paul cares about Jessica deeply, he worries about how she will react when she learns the truth. He hopes she won’t be too angry with them for too long.

King Henry has forgiven Jackie and Paul for their past mistakes, and he even welcomed them back to the castle. He was eager to meet his nephew and get to know him better. However, King Henry is still not on speaking terms with his sister Katherine, and he has yet to meet her children. Despite this, Jackie and Paul are grateful for the King’s forgiveness and are looking forward to their future in the castle.
