It was soon the day that Ava and Director Chow agreed.

Meredith arrived at the hotel very early and booked a room which was not far from the room they had arranged.

Then she found the waiter she bribed, a college student who studied under a work-study programme. Meredith gave her some benefits and she agreed to lend her clothes to Meredith for a few hours.

"You must be careful. We have a dinner party here today. Don't cause any troubles." The waiter said. Meredith nodded and took the clothes over. There were a standard set of waiters’ clothes and a worker's badge. She hurriedly changed into it and then walked out. She cleaned up while observing how things were going on over there.

Derek stopped the car, looked at the brightly-lit banquet hall, and rubbed his temples.

Today, his cousin, whom he had not seen in years, returned home. After waiting for so long, his Second Uncle and Second Aunt wanted their son to have a chance to show himself to all the guests. Naturally, they would not miss such an opportunity.

So, they held such a big dinner party on purpose.

Director Chow had arrived!

Meredith's eyes darkened and she clenched her lips. The pain forced her to remain calm and awake.
