"Get back together? Why would you get back together? Aren't you worried that Leon's after the family?" Daisy's expression changed.

She was the one who wanted to see Iris and Leon get back together the least. It was not good news for her at all!

"How could that be?! Leon is so capable. So many of the families in Springfield City are after him. Why would he need to go after our family? In the end, we've wrongly blame him last time," Gilbert said. With things as they were, he would be an idiot if he still could not tell that Leon was wrongly accused!

"That might not be true! Don't forget, Leon could very well be the culprit behind Iris's kidnapping! He's an advanced Supreme Master, but he deliberately killed two thugs to not leave a single clue behind. What could his intentions possibly be?!" Daisy did not give up as she insisted that there was a problem with Leon.

"That's true. I almost forgot about that!" Gilbert slapped himself on the forehead when he remembered.

He kicked Leon out because he had both been worried that Leon was after their family's wealth and that Leon could be the person behind Iris's kidnapping.

With the situation as it was, Leon was not after the Young fortune. However, it was still a big question if Leon was behind Iris's kidnapping or not.

"Even though Leon is still suspicious, there's no evidence to suggest that he was behind it all. He might have wrongly been blamed for that too!" Gilbert said after some thought.

He could not figure out what motive Leon could have to kidnap Iris, so he felt like it was possibly another misunderstanding.

"But-" Daisy still had more to say, but she was interrupted by Gilbert before she could finish.

"Don't think about it anymore. If you have time to worry about that, you should be thinking about our

current situation! Dad already said earlier. If Iris can't get back together with Leon, we'll be confined for three days to think about what we did!" Gilbert smiled bitterly.

"It's just three days, there's nothing to be scared of," Daisy sniffed.

Compared to that, she was more concerned that Leon would get back together with Iris. It would cause her a lot of unnecessary trouble in the future!

Whatever! She already started her plans anyway. It did not matter if Iris got back with Leon or not!
