"Let go," William spoke in a cold tone.

"William, I'm worried about you..."

Jodie refused to give up. It wasn't easy for her to get a chance to be alone with William. How could she give up in fear?

But before she could finish her words, she met William's cold eyes. She was so frightened that she immediately let go of his arm and sat back in the chair. "William, you just woke up. You must be hungry. Would you like some porridge?"

William didn't reply. He did not even look at her.

He found his phone behind him on the bed and called Marshall.

Marshall answered immediately.

"Come here right away, or pack up and go to Srence."

"Mr. Kinsman, I'm nearby. I'll be right there!"

Marshall trembled with fear. He directly ran back to William's ward after answering the phone.

"Judging by Mr. Kinsman's tone, he was obviously angry. Who could have made him mad so early in the morning?

"I just went down to the cafeteria, and things went wrong in the ward. I haven't got to eat the pancake I just bought!" thought Marshall.

"William, why are you ignoring me?"

Jodie, having been neglected for a while, couldn't help but feel aggrieved and act coquettishly when she saw William calling Marshall. "Why are you still here?"

William hung up the phone and glanced at Jodie.

She was holding a food container.

"William, I'm worried about you, so let me stay and take care of you. It just so happens that Olivia Clarke, that annoying woman, is not here, and no one will bother us!"

As Jodie spoke in an affectedly sweet tone, she felt a little smug.

Her face had long since returned to normal. She had been worried that Olivia would stay here and not leave. Surprisingly, the woman had left early in the morning, taking the pesky little brat with her. She was so lucky!

She and William were just made for each other!

"Jodie, Olivia is my wife. How dare you refer to her as an annoying woman in front of me?"

William looked at Jodie, his face filled with anger.

"I shouldn't have said that, but she's really annoying. You don't know that she came to my ward last night and grabbed my hair and threatened me. My scalp still hurts!

"And that pesky boy let his bee sting me yesterday. Olivia must have told him to do it. William, she is such a wicked woman. Why are you still with her?"

Jodie complained angrily, saying all the words she had held back in her heart.

She had to let William know the true colors of Olivia. She could not allow him to be deceived!

"Ms. Pratt, I think you're forgetting something. The annoying woman you're talking about is the only wife I've ever had, and that pesky boy is my son. What are you trying to do by slandering my wife and son in front of me?

"Or do you think there will be no consequences for disrespecting the Kinsman family?"

"William, that's not what I meant. I just don't want you to be deceived." Jodie was a little confused.

William obviously didn't like Olivia. Why was he speaking up for her now?

Olivia must have done something to William to make him lose his head over her.

How scheming she was!

"Deceived?" William sneered. "I would be more than happy to be deceived by my dear wife."

"Olivia Clarke must have threatened to you, right? Don't worry. I will help you."

Jodie gritted her teeth and said angrily.

William was annoyed by her stubbornness.

"Ms. Pratt, I'm going to take a break. Please leave.

William waved his hand and ordered her to leave.

"I'm not leaving, William. I won't give Olivia another chance to get close to you. Get some rest. I'm going to stay here and keep an eye on you!" Jodie refused to leave. Just as William was about to throw her out, Marshall rushed in.

"Mr. Kinsman, I'm here!"

When he entered the room and saw Jodie, he instantly understood why William was angry.

"Where are Olivia and Ezra?" asked William.

"Mrs. Kinsman and young Mr. Kinsman went to Harmonia Kindergarten early in the morning for the opening ceremony." "What time is the ceremony?"

Only now did William remember that today was the first day of Harmonia Kindergarten. He had forgotten because of his allergies.

He subconsciously looked at the time.

It was already 9:30 in the morning.

He didn't know if it was too late.

"Ten o'clock this morning."

"Prepare the car. Let's go to Harmonia Kindergarten."

"What? Mr. Kinsman, you haven't recovered yet. Doctor Wilcher said you had two IVs of anti-allergic medication this morning..."

"It is my son's opening ceremony. I have to be there. Why have you been talking so much nonsense lately?"

"But Mrs. Kinsman has ordered that if you don't have the infusion, you will not be allowed to go home tonight..." Marshall felt wronged, but he still braced himself to remind William. This was Mrs. Kinsman's special instruction before she left with young Mr. Kinsman.

When William heard that it was Olivia's order, he could not help but feel warm in his heart and his mood improved as well.

The seemingly heartless woman still cared about him.

"Get the medicine and I'll get the infusion in the car."

William quickly made up his mind.

"What?" Marshall was shocked, but on second thought, this could work.

After all, he obviously couldn't talk Mr. Kinsman out of attending the opening ceremony.

"Okay then. How about we get you something to eat for breakfast? You will feel better with a full stomach when you get an IV drip

"That's right, William. You have to have some breakfast. Listen to Marshall. And you need someone to hold the IV bag for you. So I'll go with you!"

When she saw William's insistence on going to the ceremony, Jodie was a little upset, but in order to spend more time with him, she braced herself to say that. "Throw it away."

"What? Mr. Kinsman, Mrs. Kinsman has bought the breakfast for you!"

"Olivia bought it?"

"Yes, this breakfast place is very famous. Mrs. Kinsman went there early in the morning and lined up to buy it."

"Take it. I'm going to eat in the car."

William immediately changed his mind.

He even showed a rare smile. His proud and satisfied expression shocked everyone in the room!

"Okay!" Marshall happily brought the breakfast and followed William out of the ward.

He could tell that Mr. Kinsman would do whatever Mrs. Kinsman said.

As expected, Mrs. Kinsman was the best!

On the other hand, Jodic, who had been ignored, felt a wave of annoyance.

It was just a simple pancake and porridge. What was so special about them?

Olivia was really good at fawning at others!

"William, wait for me. I'll go with you!"

When Jodie came to her senses, she chased after William.

Unfortunately, her heels were too high, so she tripped the minute she stepped out. She fell to the ground and her mouth was swollen. Send Gift
