Bella complained about the discomfort, yet she comfortably nestled against Justin's chest. "Oh, this couple is really worrying me to death."

"Carrie just had a little quarrel with Ryan. Is it appropriate to leave them alone now?" Justin asked in a low voice.

Bella explained, "Carrie still loves Ryan. I'm sure of it. After this incident, Ryan must have realized his mistake. Let's just give him a chance to talk things out with Carrie. The person who caused this should be the one to fix it."

Justin nodded thoughtfully, smoothing the strands of hair that fell beside her cheek with his fingertips. "Hmm, alright."

"Yasmin just told me that Logan plans to hold a shareholders' meeting for the company this month. He'll officially make Ryan the president of the Hoffman Group and add him to the board of directors. After that Ryan will go straight to the Salvador family to propose for a marriage."

Justin's eyes flickered, but he remained silent.

"What's wrong? You don't look too happy. Are you not satisfied with this relationship?" Bella reached out and softly touched his cheek.

"Don't be fooled by my temper with him. I genuinely care about them. I truly want them to be happy. I'm just afraid that Ryan can't take good care of Carrie, so I wanted to give him a little warning. They're in love! How could I not want the best for them? If their relationship works out in the end, then Carrie will have her own family someday."
