It was unclear when he had arrived or how long he had waited, but the moment their eyes met, they both smiled. Melody ran toward Lucas, who opened his arms and gave her a warm, strong hug. "How long have you been waiting? Why didn't you tell me you were coming?" Melody snuggled against Lucas.

Lucas' voice was clear and cheerful. "For you, I'm willing to wait as long as possible."

She lifted her head from his embrace. They locked eyes, both unable to contain their smiles.

"Let's go. Grandma is still waiting for you to pick her up from the hospital. I told her you were busy today, but she insisted on waiting for you to come and get her! She thinks I'm lying if she doesn't get to see you with her own eyes," said Lucas.

"Huh? Didn't I visit her the night before last?"

To prevent Beatrice from worrying too much, Melody immediately went to see her after she had recovered, but then there were rehearsals and other commitments. Thus, she could not keep Beatrice company every day.

"After the fan meet-up ends, I'll take some time off to stay home and keep Grandma and Grandpa company," Melody said, sticking to her original plan. After all, Beatrice and Cedric were getting older, and Beatrice had even fallen down the stairs. She needed some time to recuperate.

"Yeah. A certain someone has been so busy that she slept in the studio for two nights and didn't come home. You can't blame Grandma for worrying about you. She even thought I was teaming up with you to deceive her," Lucas said, his words laden with resentment.

Melody gently stroked his cheek as if soothing a tiger.

"After the fan meet-up ends, I'll take a break and accompany you to work every day. That way you'll see me from morning till night. I'm not going to leave even if you get tired of me, okay?" Lucas scoffed coldly. "You're the only one who gets tired of me. I don't get tired of you. Might I gently remind you that you still have a husband waiting for you at home, Miss Workaholic?" Melody blushed at his words and rubbed her nose. "It's not as bad as you're making it sound..."

"Huh! So it's not bad that you didn't come home for two nights straight?" Lucas retorted.

Melody proceeded to flatter Lucas, almost as if she was making amends to him.

When they finally brought Cedric and Beatrice back home, the family sat peacefully and enjoyed a truly meaningful reunion dinner.

Time flew by, and no matter how much Melody tried to seize it, the day of the fan meet-up arrived inevitably.

As the day drew nearer, the fan group became more and more lively. Everyone had different questions, but they all shared the same sentiment-excitement!

Many of them were first-time fans,

while many others were eagerly awaiting their first meeting with Melody. They were constantly active in the fan group, making Melody even more nervous when she saw their messages.

[Um, anything I should take note of for meeting Melody for the first time? I've never been to a fan meet-up before. I've only casually followed other celebrities. This is my first time being this big of a fan!]

Many fans chimed in, admitting it was their first time too.

[Haha, I never thought I'd go crazy for a young celebrity at my old age. But what can I do? Melody is just too outstanding. I immediately fell for her the moment I watched her

movie That face, that acting talent... It's been so many years since the entertainment industry has such a beautiful and talented actress. She's definitely going to be a national sensation!]

[National? She's going to be a global sensation!]

[There's not much to note, but everyone should remember their safety above all else.]
