Chapter 22:A Visit From Jadis

"Hey lil damsel," Vador said dropping a bag of blood with a Pepsi drink on the bed. Yes! Vampires drink Pepsi too"How's your body now?" "I'm fine for the fifth time. You really don't have to keep doing this, I'm actually fine now.," she replied looking at Vador's hand."Is that blood?"

"Yes, he replied pouring the blood into the Pepsi drink. Ava hated the taste of blood,she preferred taking it with another drink. Vador knew that since she was an half blooded vampire her thirst for blood wouldn't be as high as the pure blooded ones."Take it"

"Ugh," She snugged drinking it."Hmm this never gets old "

"Can I come in," Someone knocked at the door.

"Yes," Vador replied.

"Vador, lady jadis is here to see," Aleister said opening the door.

"Tell her to wait, I'll be right there"

"She says it important, and how are you damsel?" Aleister asked.

"I'm fine Alei,tnx. But tell that to Vador, he won't stop treating me like a baby."

"I'll be back Ava,I have to see someone real quick. Common let's go," Vador said to Aleister as they left the room.

"Dark lord," Jadis bowed.

"To what do I owe this honour," Vador said offering her a seat.

Lady jadis was a white witch(at least for now), she was the leader of the eastern empire. Vandora was her cousin and was sent by jadis with the approval of the council to watch Vador. Falling for the dark lord, Vandora refused to leave, she had called jadis earlier that day to inform her that the lord was having an affair with a human vampire in the royal house which was against the laws. Apparently Vandora's hatred for Ava was more than her fear for Vador, she just couldn't stand the tension anymore.

"Well straight to the point, I would like to remind you of something you're already aware of.A dark witch can be produced from a fucking half and pure blooded vampire," she replied.

"I am aware of this Jadis and did you curse at your lord?"

"Then what are you doing with a human vampire. Why is she living in the royal house? Don't tell me you've fallen for her"

"I'm sure Vandora informed you about this. I don't catch feeling lady,"he laughed"you should know this by now and you really shouldn't be questioning me."

"How would you like me to inform the council about this?"

"Easy easy there, I thought we were on good terms. What do you want?" Vador asked smiling.

"For her to leave the royal house," Lady jadis replied without hesitation.

"If you're doing this because your niece is obsessed with me then you're just wasting your time, dear lady your empire needs you. She stays and you do not wants to be an enemy of mine, "Vador licked his lips. "Very well then, see you," lady Jadis said frowning.

"Hold on," Vador said raising his hand, walking up to her "She has a name and its Ava, I'm still Lord over you Jadis, do not mess with me," he whispered into her ear and watched as her determination faded away.
