Skyler sat alone on the beach, meticulously building what he intended to be the first-ever sandcastle on the deserted island.

His cousin, Raines, sauntered over and plopped down beside him.

"Skyler, you got another brother? Someone who looks like me?" Raines asked, half-jokingly.

Skyler nodded, then shook his head slightly. "Nah, not in the face. But you guys could be twins in the height department, all tall and lanky." "Why isn't your brother here with us in Elysium?" Raines asked, his tone casual as if making small talk.

Skyler shrugged. "Who knows? He might be in Elysium for all I know. The guy's like a walking enigma. Never know where he is or what he's up to." Raines raised an eyebrow. "What's his gig? Why all the mystery?" "He was a mob boss, but his gang's been dissolved," Skyler confessed, looking up with eyes that shimmered like amber in the sunlight, deep and enigmatic.

Raines turned to surprise. "Why'd he get into that line of work?" "lI wish I knew, man. I don't think he ever liked the idea of being just a regular Joe," Skyler sighed heavily. "He never got the simple pleasures but always had to be in scontest with everyone. But there's always a bigger fish, right, Raines?" A shadow flickered across Raines' eyes.

"It seems that there are sconflicts going on in your brotherhood." Skyler met his gaze steadily. "You can't plot with a man who's walking a different path. I'm straight as an arrow but he went down the rabbit hole, even turned on his family. How could we ever see eye to eye?" Raines darkened his gaze, inscrutable as the ocean.

"If he's really lost his way, shouldn't you as his brother help him find the path? Family sticks together through thick and thin." Skyler's sigh was laden with regret. "I've tried, believe me. But it's like he's always got a mask on and never shows his true face.

I'm starting to think he's hiding shideous mug under there, not like my handsself." Raines tightened his lips slightly, with a hint of tension in his jaw.

"Aren't you guys identical twins? You should look exactly alike." Skyler pulled a face. "Sometimes I wonder if we're really twins. Why else would he be so secretive, always wearing a mask? He also has an ego. If he wasn't ugly, he wouldn't need a mask." He smirked proudly. "Me, I never wear a mask. Why cover up this handsface? Only the insecure hide behind masks." Raines twitched his mouth with a forced smile.

"Skyler, you're a trip. He's your brother, right? How can you never have seen his face?" Skyler puffed out his cheeks. "We were separated at birth. Sbad guys snatched him. It wasn't until we got older that we found each other. Now I'm starting to think I got played, maybe he's an impostor. Cause a real older brother wouldn't treat his kin like that but look out for him." Raines mused, "Only the younger brother follows and respects the older brother can he be watched over in turn." Skyler countered, "I used to follow his lead and did a lot of things for him. Now I see they were all wrong, so I won't help him anymore. I'm a good guy, like, super good."
