Aurelia shrugged indifferently. She was curious how the AK Group planned to swap the babies and sneak Megan and her child through the paternity test.

Sheryl broke the silence. "On the day of Nova's christening, Megan showed up with the baby, hoping to have the child acknowledged by the family. Jessica's envoy demanded a DNA test, and we've heard nothing since. She wants the kid to be part of the Stirling family but won't take the test. Could it be that the child isn't Leopold's?" Lisa stuck out her tongue playfully. "I'm just guessing, but think about it. Megan went through much trouble to break Aurelia and Leopold up. She married Leopold and would definitely want to cement her place by having his child as soon as possible. She wouldn't cheat." Sheryl glanced at Aurelia and covered her mouth, whispering, "What if Leopold's shooting blanks? Then she'd have no choice but to find a donor." Lisa choked on her drink, her eyes wide with shock. "Shooting blanks? What are you talking about?" Aurelia massaged her temples, imagining Leopold's reaction to such a suggestion would be at a loss for words.

In a quiet tone, Sheryl confided, "Six years ago, Leopold was the target of an assassination attempt abroad. He survived, but it took a toll on his fertility. Luckily, he banked his sperms before he left, and Kane was conceived through artificial insemination." Lisa was shocked, her eyes as round as saucers.

While she was sipping her coffee, Aurelia's eyes twinkled mischievously. "Sheryl, I almost forgot about that. Since reconciling with Leopold, I've wanted to try for a daughter but haven't gotten pregnant. Could it be that Leopold has yet to recover?" Sheryl's suspicions deepened.

"You've had two kids, so you're fertile. The issue must be with Leopold. Megan, desperate after several failed attempts to conceive, must have panicked and sought a donor on the sly." Lisa clicked her tongue. "Has Leopold not noticed?" Sheryl stroked her chin, looking like Sherlock Holmes in deep thought.

"He must suspect something by now. That's why he wants a divorce. Megan, frantic to keep her secret, went all in and poisoned him." Aurelia slammed her hand on the table. "Sheryl, you're probably right. You always see the big picture. I hadn't even considered that." Sheryl raised an eyebrow proudly. As a Golden Fleece award-winning actress, she had played in plenty of s and mystery series and had plenty of experience to draw from.

"Megan must be racking her brain on how to bluff her way through the DNA test. I'll have to warn Jessica tomorrow." Meanwhile, in a makeshift "classroom," Skyler was giving the kids a biology lesson. He planned to apply for a position as a biology teacher, armed with his PhD in the subject.

He had brought several microscopes for the children to examine plant samples. Nina loved Skyler's biology classes.

"If only Mira and I could attend the elite campus," she mused.

They, too, were students at Pinnacle Ivy League School but in the regular division, not the elite one, which was for high-1Q prodigies.

Nina and Mira were bright but not up to the elite campus standards.

Mira made a face, saying, "I wouldn't want to be in the elite section. They study calculus in first grade." "You have a point," Nina conceded, sticking out her tongue. She only wanted to be with Kane and William and to attend Skyler's classes.

Skyler was pleased the kids enjoyed his lessons. Arnold had written him a letter of recommendation, and Skyler was confident about the upcoming interview.

Just then, his phone buzzed with a new message.

[Skyler, teaching isn't your thing. I'm waiting for you back at Eastwood Heights.]
