"Look, I hope you get your act together and stop sneaking off on holiday with my husband” Megan spat out the words and stormed off, her irritation palpable.

Aurelia fumed even more. If it weren't for the need to lure the enemy into the trap, to take down the AK Group once and for all, she wouldn't have gotten caught dead vacationing with Leopold. Leopold, the tyrant himself, clipped her wings and forbade her from being with others. If not for his oppressive ways, she would have remarried long ago instead of being reduced to his casual fling. Dinner was a tense affair, with five people seated around the table. The atmosphere was thick with unspoken conflict.

Megan sat beside Leopold. "Honey, maybe we should dine separately. I'd love a private meal with you,’ she suggested.

William couldn't help but roll his eyes and retorted, "Uncle Leopold is here to hang with us. You're the tagalong.

If anyone should dine alone, it's you."

Megan shot him a glare. “I'm your Uncle Leopold's wife. We're family.”

William replied with a slow, deliberate tone, "Uncle Leopold never treats his wives like family. Besides, he’s so quick to change them out, you could be next on the chopping block.”

Leopold massaged his temples, feeling speechless. Was this little guy supposed to be helping him or hurting him?

Megan nearly choked on her outrage. The boy's sharp tongue was lethal.

"Leopold swapped out his old flames because he didn't like them. But he loves me. We're not getting divorced.

We're in it for the long haul” Megan asserted.

William made a grotesque face. "Ma“am, no offense, but you're no beauty queen, and your figure's seen better days. Uncle Leopold's not blind. How could he possibly fancy you?"

Skyler picked up the thread. “She's not as pretty as Aurelia. Aurelia is the most beautiful girl on the planet.

Megan was on the verge of explosion, fury rising like a volcanic eruption.

"Lam the belle of Elysium, and I'm not wearing makeup during my pregnancy. Every woman's figure changes with pregnancy, but I'll bounce back”

William curled his lip mockingly. “Pretty girls don't need makeup. Makeup is for covering up. My mom never wears any.

Skyler nodded vigorously in agreement. "William's right.”

Aurelia sipped her juice, unfazed. Her son was young but was second to none when being sharp- tongued.

Megan, frantic and flustered, turned to Leopold, seeking his defense. But Leopold was engrossed in his phone, acting like he hadn't heard a word.

Taking a deep breath, Megan addressed Aurelia, "Can't you control your kids? They're rude.” Aurelia replied calmly, "Kids speak their minds. They don't beat around the bush. Aren't you a bit too old to argue with a three-year-old?"

Skyler crossed his arms and huffed, "She's an unreasonable adult, arguing with kids."

"Yeah, unreasonable; echoed William, nodding like a bobblehead.

That was when Megan noticed something wrong about Skyler. Despite his size, he spoke with a stutter, like someone with a learning difficulty.

"Is he a relative of yours, Aurelia? Is there something... wrong with him?"

Aurelia answered smoothly, “He's Mr. Leopold's cousin, the young master of the Heninger family." Megan's heart skipped. Realizing her faux pas, she clamped her mouth shut.

William stood up, hands on hips, glaring at her. "Ma'am, Skyler has four PhDs and three Masters. How many do you have?"

Megan wanted to throttle him.

"It was just a joke," she said weakly.

"Not funny at all? William retorted, patting Skyler's shoulder. "Skyler, let's not waste our time with her."

Skyler nodded in agreement.

Leopold glanced at Megan, seeing her genuine surprise. It seemed she had never met Skyler before, or more precisely, never seen that face.

After all, Skyler and Geoffrey were identical twins.
