Aurelia swung by Leopold's office to brew him a cup of cappuccino.

"Why a dog's face?"

Leapold took a small sip, as long as she wasn't poking fun at him, it was fine.

“In a few days, Uncle Hanson is coming to Elysium and he's planning to bring that kid along, Mom agreed.”

Originally, they were supposed to go back for Grandma's 90th birthday, but since Uncle Hanson decided to bring the kid, it might be a good time to meet him face-to-face.

Aurelia's interest perked up immediately, "Why would the Heninger family suddenly bring him to Elysium?”

Leopold stirred his coffee, "We'll find out when he arrives.”

He was determined to root out the AK Group this time, not letting one guilty person escape. Aurelia brushed her bangs from her forehead, "Anything from Zachary?"

"No, not yet." Leopold's fingers tapped lightly on the table, his face a deep mask of contemplation. Aurelia added, “His flashy arrival and presence at the party might be a distraction. The real threat might not be him."

His thoughts mirrored hers.

His team and Interpol managed to eradicate two of AK Group's bases and a secret bio-lab in Verdecalma, causing a significant blow to them.

Now, the priority was to find their hideouts within the country and wipe them out.

Aurelia understood his meaning, even an unassuming character could set off a chain of massive reactions.

Their enemy was cunning and unpredictable. They could only win by finding the ringleader.

During her silence, Leopold moved to sit next to her.

“Was it Elvis who brought you back from the gala last night?”

His tone carried a hint of gloom.

Aurelia caught on to his tone and patted his shoulder, "Mr. Leopold, if I don't plan for the future, I'll have worries near at hand. I have to keep my options open, just in case you go back on your word. If that happens, I'll leave Astral Enterprises and sever all ties with you. Ethereal Gems will be my first choice.”

His handsome eyebrows furrowed, "Drop that thought. As long as I'm in charge of Astral Enterprises, don't even think about switching jobs."
