“Do you know about the AK Group in Verdecalma?” she asked quietly.

His handsome face tensed up at her question. “How did you know about it?"

“I've warned you to stay away from it. Why didn't you listen?”

“I don't want to sit and do nothing.”

Aurelia bit her lip. She didn't want anything to happen to him, either.

"Megan might have joined the organization six years ago. She's been trying to stay close to you, probably to harm you.”

“Aurelia!” Leopold gripped her shoulder, his expression serious. “As long as you're safe, I am safe, too.”
