Chapter 412

Leopold's lips twitched as if he wanted to say something, but he swallowed back his words and walked out the door.

Aurelia covered herself with the blankets, her eyes brimming with unshed tears.

If that medical malpractice hadn't happened, she might have remained an assistant designer at Design Department, struggling to make her way in the corporate world. She would have never crossed paths with him. Wasn't that ordinary life a form of happiness?

The next day, Megan went to Astral Enterprises.

She had thought about it all night. She couldn't just stand by and wait for him to get a divorce. She had to do something to secure her place.

“Leopold, you can't just leave me hanging. I want to be your woman, and I want a child.” With a child, he could never hope to shake her off. She would stick to him like glue, for a lifetime.

A cold glint flashed in Leopold's eyes.

He had anticipated her demands. They were no surprise

Greed always came with a price.

“Tonight, I'll send someone to pick you up.”

Megan left with a triumphant sway of her hips and a smirk on her face.

That night, at a dimly lit villa halfway up the hillside, a man awaited her, lounging on a couch in a bathrobe.

He poured two glasses of red wine and handed one to her.

“The lights are so dim,” she said, sipping the wine.

“That's called romance,” he replied nonchalantly.

She laughed, “I like romance.”

After downing her wine, she began to undress.

“Leopold,” she purred, “Tonight, I'll take you to heaven.”

She had plenty of skills in that.

She had also secretly turned on her phone's camera, planning to send Aurelia a little

present.

Chapter 412

At midnight, a cold breeze blew in from the slightly ajar window.

The man glanced at the woman sleeping beside him, gave a cryptic smile, got up from the bed, put on his robe, and walked out.

In the hallway, he stood before a mirror, gently touching his handsome face.

In the dim light, his face was almost identical to Leopold's. It was hard to tell the difference, to discern the real from the fake.

The Sovereign Elite Group was Leopold's creation, boasting the world’s most advanced technology. Creating a "human skin” mask was a piece of cake.

When Megan woke up, the man was already gone.

Looking around the room, the remnants of their passionate night brought a satisfied smile to her face.

She was finally Leopold's woman.

He had been so wild last night; she had screamed until her voice was hoarse and then passed out from the pleasure.

She dressed, picked up her phone, and with a gentle press, sent the secretly recorded video.

At that moment, Aurelia was having breakfast.

Seeing the video, she felt the room spin, as if she had been struck by lightning.

"...Leopold, you're so good... I love it... don't stop... ah..."

A wave of nausea rose from Aurelia's stomach, almost causing her to vomit the sip of milk she had just swallowed.

Although she had often imagined Leopold being intimate with another woman, seeing it was a thousand times more shocking.

It felt as though a pot of molten iron had been poured over her heart, the scorching liquid searing her insides, burning every cell of her body.

Sharp pain radiated from her chest, making it hard for her to breathe. She doubled over, gasping for breath, forcing herself not to faint.

She slowly closed her eyes, the despair rolling in like a murky current, engulfing her in its darkness, leaving no room for hope.

“Mommy, are you okay? Are you feeling sick?” a young, innocent voice asked from the

side.
