Leopold stumbled out of bed, with Kevin immediately rushing to his aid. “Mr. Leopold, you're awake!”

He looked around, seeking the figure he desperately yearned for, but the room was empty, filled only with a deathly silence.

“Where's Aurelia? Where is she?”

Kevin lowered his head, “The search team is still... looking for her.”

The storm last night had made the search difficult. Even if they found her, it would likely just be her remains.

Leopold refused to believe it. He couldn't accept such a possibility. Aurelia was alive, his Aurelia must be alive!

Leopold held a celebration for her. This was his first public appearance three months after returning home.

Without Aurelia, he was like a stove without fire, a walking corpse without a soul. His eyes lacked light, his face lacked spirit, his heart was empty.

“Today's celebration is for Aurelia. She is not only Astral Enterprises’ most brilliant designer, but also my wife!”
