After leaving the hospital, Aurelia and Leopold went their separate ways.

She was about to get into Yuna's car when a familiar voice and hand on her shoulder caught her attention, “Aurelia, is that you?”

She immediately recognized that familiar voice; it was Emma.

Damn. Elysium is a major city, so why did she run into someone she knew so easily?

And she was even wearing a black face mask.

Turning around, she squinted slightly, “What a coincidence, are you here to see the doctor too?” “Just having a regular check-up. What about you?” Emma asked.

“I just had a follow-up for my uterine fibroids,” Aurelia said nonchalantly.

Emma's eyes scanned the parking lot, and by now, Leopold's car had already left.

“I thought I saw someone who looked like Mr. Leopold with you.”

After buying some fruit from the supermarket, she headed to Avery Hawthorne's apartment. Avery was recording a reality show today and wasn't home, leaving only Jolin Hawthorne.

Jolin was in the kitchen dealing with an old hen and planning to make soup.

Aurelia saw the bag of herbs on the kitchen counter and quickly asked, “Mom, what are these for?” “These are blood-activating and stasis—resolving herbs I bought from the pharmacy this morning. I'm going

to put them in the soup for you.”

Aurelia took a deep breath, and quickly put away the herbs.

If she consumed these, it would harm the baby in her belly.

Thinking about the cute little face of the babies she saw in the ultrasound image, her heart melted. “Mom, I'm already taking blood-activating and stasis-resolving medicine every day, I can't have the soup. with those herbs, or else I might have a heavy period.”
